Travelodge Chertsey

Handy for Thorpe Park as others have mentioned and reasonably priced........for good reason ! Parking very limited and at extra cost,needed a degree in the workings of ticket machines to pay ! Welcomed at the front door by 4 very inebriated men and their supply of bagged beverages and then the room was like a furnace ! Two fans going all night made no difference,we were quite tempted to sleep downstairs by the lifts where it was particularly cool ! Would not stay here again
or recommend to friends.

Not the best Travelodge, but not the worst. My only real grow was there was a very loud fan unit outside our ground floor room, so despite it being warm had to sleep with Windows closed as too loud to sleep otherwise.

We were given duvet and sheet options for the main bed but only duvet for the extra (kids) bed. When asked for sheet next day (duvet being too hot) was quickly provided with one.

Room wasn't cleared/coffees replenished in the middle day of our 2 night stay, but again staff quickly supplied is with what we wanted when we asked at reception.

On doing the obligatory room check on leaving noticed there was a plastic drinks bottle under bed. Unfortunately this doesn't speak well to quality of cleaning as it definitely wasn't ours and so had obviously been there since previous occupants.

The location of this hotel is perfect for Thorpe Park however I definitely won’t be staying again. The staff were great lovely, friendly and helpful however the hotel in general not so great. The room was like a sauna I kid you not, they did provide a basic fan but this wasn’t enough it was 28/29 outside and the room felt even hotter. Took chocolate back to the room with soda and within 20 mins the choc was melted and the soda was going warm. They really need to provide air con and a fridge especially for the summer months. The other issue was the bed wasn’t the comfiest and the bed was full of stains on the mattress and sheets. It’s a shame because the town is cute and it’s only a 30 min walk to Thorpe park with supermarkets etc all in walking distance

Friendly reception staff, plus room was good, dirty pillow case on extra pillow but the bed was clean and well made. Uncomfortable pillows and bed. Average stay but close to thorpe park and cheap.
Nice chicken shop take away in the town.

Stole my money. Couldn't make the dates due to a medical emergency. They would not refund nor move the dates. Avoid, they have zero concern. From the other reviews, it looks like they don't care about the condition of their lodgings either. They've stolen almost £500 from me and are refusing to refund.

Excellent location just off the main shopping street in Chertsey, 5 min walk from the railway station.

Rooms are just carbon copy Trevelodge, but you always know what to expect.

Comfortable night's sleep.

Just a shame there's no restaurant or ajoined pub. Although there's plenty of choice on the high street.

Friendly staff basic room but everything you need clean and tidy beds very comfortable only thing I would of liked is a choice of teabags as I don't drink ordinary tea I have mint for medical reasons but other than that very happy

Having never stayed here before my first shock was that I had to pay for parking. Corridor leading to our room had a strong odour of cigarette smoke and as a non smoker I did not appreciate that. Room quite small, a shower but no bath. Bed and bedding was comfortable and clean
