British White House Suites

Depite being cheap, it still wasn't worth the money; when booking the property, we were told that we wouldn't be charged until we arrived at the property as we wanted to pay with cash. However, less than a day later, the money was removed from my bank account. When we arrived at the property, I found that the code I'd been given for my postal box to retrieve my keys, was only three digits instead of the required four. I had to call up to get someone to answer the door. We were then taken to a room which was completely different to the room I'd been assigned to in the email I'd received. I was informed that the room had just been tended to, but it was lacking tea/the supplies which I'd requested in advance. It was tidy, but to call it clean would be an overstatement. There were stains on the wall and damp around the windows. Our bedding wasn't terrible. I can only describe the pillow as a tea towel wrapped in a napkin. That being said, the mattress was comfortable. There was a hole in the window that I could see straight through to outside, and one of the sliding doors in our room wouldn't even close properly. Most of the plug sockets in the room didn't actually work. The lights are also too dim to see properly and the fan heater, which was the only source of heating, only blew cold air. The walls and floors are so thin that you can hear most of the other people in the building, and doors are constantly slamming shut. To top it all off, the shower came through cold the next morning. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

On the check in day I have to wait for the room key 4 hour after 4hour owner have arranged the key , some carpenters comes with the key and says he was holding the key because owner haven’t paid ££ for changing the locks.when I have looked in the room it was really messy no bed sheets no curtains and no heating in the building.
I have booked N suites but unfortunately there is no non suites available because the previous guest wasn’t checked out . So I didn’t want to staying in hotel so owner have said we will I’ve you full refund and she offered 2nights free stay because is not leaving standards I refuse.

Still waiting for refund no reply over the phone some lady answers phone always with no answer and says I can only take massages.
Owner is mysterious

Room was dirty and smelly. No staff around to speak to. Had to leave immediately I arrived to find alternative accommodation.

I think all these reviews are all crazy for price you pay what more do you expect and if you want to speak to them they replied in minutes if you want high price rip off hottel that you pay for same thing a bed and TV that's what u should go and book but if you staying for a night what more do you expect I think it's the best hotel about and I've stayed in a lot and spent over a hundred pound and got nothing more lol thanks to this place I get a meal out at a nice restaurant go swimming up road use jerusy and still got money left over what more could u ask for great

Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting given the reviews I read, it's definitely in need of maintenance, door locks were a bit hit or miss. However it was warm, the room itself was clean enough and had a sink and fridge for some reason. It was a bit noisy in the room as the window didn't real properly but definitely not something that would prevent me sleeping. For the price it's not bad at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Runaway from this place!! Noisy, smelly, and no light in bathroom, no soap, no towels, not tissue. First room they gave us was already occupied. Horrible!

Advertised as cheep no frills stay. But they have gone to far with no TV no kettle. People popping in for a hour or 2 and going. Cctv posters all over the walls drug use posters as well. The room was OK until I woke up at 1 am for a drink and turned the light on and bugs were all over the floor. OK I get the no frills concept but I'd say its used more for alternative activities rather than a guest house for workers or travellers

That hotel is absolute terror. Visited in 2018, broken glass on the floor, stains on the bedsheets, had to use my sleeping bag.
