Fantastic stay with my family. Went to a gig at G-Live, location is great and also booking a parking space makes it that much easier upon arrival to the hotel.

Lovely bar area, serving a great selection of drinks and bar snacks. Service was great and welcoming.

Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and what a plus to have AC, made the night that much easier to sleep. Bathroom I have to say was quite small but did the job (not for those who like enclosed spaces). Shower was nice but could do with a shower head that fits the stopper.

Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Loved the choice on selection.

The only issue I faced was having to use a hand towel to dry myself as they did not give a proper towel. Spoke to reception who said they would sort it and didn’t. Which to me was poor showing for such a lovely place but I admit they were busy. House keeping just gave me 4 hand towels which did make me laugh. Honestly that was the only negative throughout the stay.

Myself and my fiancé and family will certainly be back within the near future.

Overall a solid 9.5/10

Stayed just the one night. Found it quite noisy but not unbearable. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. All staff looked to be hardworking. Special praise to Mitch who was particularly helpful.
Would definitely recommend.

Very comfy beds inside nicely decorated rooms that need some minor updates.

Small things inside the room need updating. The air fan we had inside the room looked like it came from the 90's and the TV was the same size as my laptop screen.

Both times I have stayed here I have not felt welcomed. Being fairly young it seems like they do not expect you to be there. The second time I came fairly late in the evening. The man at the desk asked if he could help, when I stated I made a booking he seemed more surprised than anything.

Also, please advise staff to not stare at customers. Its creepy and doesn't make you feel welcome.

It's a shame really because if that wasn't the case the hotel itself is lovely.

The hotel is beautiful, however as other reviewers mentioned the standard room at £97 is extremely small. There are two tiny night tables with no drawers or storage. The bathroom is extremely small with a tiny sink and no storage. No water pressure in the shower. The breakfast area is a real fridge with perhaps 10 air cons at full power. I raised the issue of the small size of the bedroom to the staff and they replied that it is an old hotel and it is what it is; poor handling of customer feedbacks. Avoid this hotel, you can get much better for the same price in any hotel chain.

Great location, fantastic service from Mitch who really went above and beyond for us whilst we were there.
Beds are small, in hindsight I should have asked for a upgraded room. Nice decor; clean; polite staff.

Check if there is an evening event before booking.

I was faced with a ground floor room, right next to the exit of the events venue downstairs, to a law rewards events that had attendees up smashing about the corridors and external side access from midnight until 4AM. It didn't seem like the hosts nor the hotel were controlling the behaviour of their venue guests.

In addition, I turned up to check into my room early evening to find my room was not made up at all since the previous guest. The service to rectify was swift, however I received nothing in return for the inconvenience.

Couldn't give the room 5 stars on account of the unfortunate craely floorboards and lack of air con. Otherwise I have to say the hotel was beautiful, the rooms were quaint and the service was spot on, so I can't fault them in that area! Would absolutely recommend this, it's conveniently located and plenty comfortable for a night or two.

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate mum's birthday. Had a lovely afternoon. Lauren looked after us and was very helpful and attentive. The food was very tasty we couldn't finish it all ended up taking scones and pastries home. Was a really lovely table service the setting was quiet we had a corner table and just relaxed and enjoyed our time.
