Nice hotel and comfortable. Only 2 minor issues. There was no shower gel/ body wash in the dispenser and the toilet door wasn't cleaned, it had white splash marks over it. Otherwise it was a nice room.

This is your standard Travelodge and has everything you expect. The only issue we found was the parking. There are spaces but it has very tight spaces under the hotel. Best place to park is around the building as they share parking with the Gym.

Worst hotel room I've had in a long time. The room has no air con and just a fan and the window opens just a fraction so there's barely any way of getting fresh air in meaning that the room is like a sauna. Along with the road noise, it makes for a very uncomfortable sleep. Definitely will be avoiding in future. Worst night's sleep in a long long time.

Also found hair from a previous guest in the bathroom. Pretty gross

Awful hotel. We stayed in room 201 last night and the entire night were kept awake by the fire door banging every time someone went through. Spoke to the general manager this morning who did absolutely nothing to even apologise. She admitted they knew they had a problem with the door too. I suggested they perhaps don’t put paying customers in rooms right next to it. She could not have cared less. The hotel is also filthy. I don’t think the floors have been cleaned in a very long time. The lift is filthy and the second lift is out of action - looks like someone got stuck in it and they had to get the fire brigade out to force the doors open!
Don’t stay at this one. It’s noisy and dirty. I always stay at travelodges as find them adequate and you know what you’re going to get. This one is by far in a league of its own on the dirty and noisy scales.

Where do I start .one broken lift so had to keep using stairs all time .
Restaurant well not .breakfast rubbish like a work canteen or hostel

No phones in rooms had to constantly keep getting milk has never enough in room
Bed was never made in two days of staying
People smoking in the lifts corridors and rooms .disgusting .
No shower gel filled in the bathroom
Staff when I complained about drilling n hammering they made out I was lying no don't think so it woke me up .
Have to share carpark with gym bunnies so it's a lottery to even get a space
Cons there is a Lidal for food across the road. A nice 15 min walk into town centre with lots shops
Was given no map or help to get there when asked .
Staff miserable .
Bed was only nice thing about it .

Stayed in better travel lodges and got better service .but won't in this one again
Kids running screaming.
Doors slamming
No thanks

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room had not been cleaned properly and there were crumbs on the chairs and the carpet. It looked like someone had wiped something on the walls in the bathroom and there were stains on the floor and fresh drinking cup stains on the bed side table. The mattress and pillows were like sleeping on a pebble beach, so lumpy and too hot. Speaking of temperature it was stuffy and smelt musky, the bathroom smelt like stale wee. The corridors are stuffy and noisy all night with young people in and out of rooms. The breakfast is dry and stale. My room didn’t lock so I felt very unsafe throughout my sleep on my own as a woman. When I told the general manager about my problems and showed him photos when I checked out, he said he would send me a complimentary stay at any travelodge but I haven’t received this I checked out 2 days ago. Not that I would ever stay in one again. £198 for two nights you have got to be joking me for ‘budget hotel’.
Only good thing is there’s a Lidl opposite the hotel.

Awful hotel! Currently staying here for work but considering leaving and paying for somewhere else. Rooms are not clean, 3rd floor corridor stinks of weed and joints on floor in hall, staff are rude (with the exception of 1 lad). Shower hardly works, it's really noisy and you have to pay for WiFi. Don't use the irons as they will damage your clothes (build up of fort caused scorching). Terrible good - Avoid!!!

First room was next to a huge air con machine which drove me nuts in 2 seconds so we asked to move.

Other side was train line which the lovely receptionist explained would also involve noise!

However, train strike! Result!

Peace and quiet.

I therefore don't know if I'll return if both sides are noisy but can honestly say perfect lovely nights sleep in a clean and warm room!
