Good convenient city centre hotel. Staff are professional, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are a little tired. My room needed a new bathroom lino floor. It smelled a little but had been cleaned. Although it is on a busy roundabout there is good glazing (triple) at the front of the hotel for sound proofing but may be quieter at the rear. The lift is terrible slow. The downside of the hotel is guest come back from town throughout the night and woke me up every hour returning to their rooms on a Saturday night. 12-3am. Understandable that’s to be expected. Otherwise very good and a typical Ibis hotel where you know what you get for the price.

The rooms are spacious and clean, I think the hotel are doing their best to maintain high standards post pandemic. Some areas look a bit rundown. The location is convenient for one night stop overs, however if you are really tired and you need a decent night's sleep, ask for a room that is not on the side of the Motorway as the passing traffic at night can easily disrupt your sleep, particularly if you are a light sleeper.

Generally lovely hotel, I would stay here again.

Given this is a two star Ibis, it was really good. I have stayed in worse three star hotels. No air conditioning, but many reviews point this out so not a surprise. Good size rooms, friendly staff, proper breakfast.

Not too far from Chesterfield Station, it is right on a main road so it can get noisy but it's not the worst. The rooms are much bigger than at other Ibis Hotels and I'd guess it was an old Travelodge that Ibis took over. The rooms were big and warm, the bathrooms were big and the staff were friendly and personable.

The staff are wonderful, very accommodating. Breakfast is hot and plentiful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. If you have a problem the staff are willing to help if they can. All in all a good place to be!

The widows don’t block the sound and the curtains are pity full. I just had a sleepless night on a bright and noisy room. I would have been better off just driving through the night.

The hotel is very comfortable. Has a nice bar. The breakfast average.
The one thing you can’t fault is the friendlessness of staff who were so very helpful
Shops and restaurants across the road.

Very disappointed. This is not ibis standard. They should rebrand this hotel as ibis budget. The hotel is quite worn out. The room could have been cleaner (the sheets were fine though). The cherry on top was that there was no coffee at breakfast. Apparently their coffee machine broke and could not be fixed. Whilst this can happen, why would you not have a plan B? Like a french press or even instant coffee. Especially given that breakfast is not included in standard fare and customers have to pay extra. It is not some exotic cereal that is missing after all. Coffee is the the main reason to have breakfast at all. When we complained about it the receptionist said she would normally refund but had no authority to do so. This apparently could only be done by the manager who was on vacation. Probably somewhere where they served coffee for breakfast.
