Absolutely loved the hotel...Every member of staff was really nice, especially the young blonde girl behind the bar who, supplied our drinks she is a credit to the place!!
Brilliant little spa and gym...the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was lovely the shower was easy to use ... (unlike some places we've stayed) everything was clean, we definitely would go back again.
No noise which is a bonus!!

The room we booked was spacious given that it had a separate study room from the sleeping area, with an extra TV. This was very convenient as I was able to stay up late and do my research without disturbing my husband. The staff members were very polite, pleasant and professional in delivering customer service. Breakfast was good and to our taste. The location was a bit tricky as we weren't expecting the hotel to be tucked in between residential properties, which led to us missing the signboard and as such the hotel. That was just a minor issue as we located the property soon after getting lost. We have been in a few hotels in Nottingham. This will be our hotel of choice from now on as it ticks all the boxes in terms of our personal preferences. Keep up the good work!!!

Having booked the Beeches hotel and spa for my wife’s birthday I thought it would be a good idea and a treat with the use of the free spa. At least once a month we go to a hotel with spa facilities so as you can image we have been to quite a few in and around the Nottingham area.
The staff are very friendly and attentive but on arrival after checking in we decided to go straight to the jacuzzi and sauna.
There was a sign saying that the water had just been changed and would take some time to get to an acceptable temperature, so we decided to go in the sauna for a while and wait.
After a short while we decided to try again but it was still freezing.
I decided to go for a swim but that was freezing as well, and at that stage is when a fitter came through the pool area to fix the jacuzzi apparently.
After that disappointing start we then decided to go to the bar and try to find out what was on the menu for dinner at night then to be told that half the menu wasn’t available as there is a problem with the gas supply so we had to goto a local eatery for dinner.
The following morning we went down stairs for breakfast which was very nice but half way through our conversation was drowned out by workmen hammering the life out of a wooden frame.
My wife and I just looked at each other and couldn’t believe it.
So the hotel is very nice the rooms are very clean and the staff are good BUT after serious consideration we would not stay here again.
Kindest Regards

I stayed at the hotel on Friday night and visited the restaurant. After sitting down to order, a waitress came over and informed me her manager had asked me to remove my cap.

My first question is why he'd sent a young girl over to ask a guest a rather uncomfortable question whilst he sits behind his desk watching the cameras in the back room - something a real manager/leader should do themselves?

Secondly, after walking over to reception to ask for clarity on why I was being asked to remove my cap when I was dressed smartly, I was told "it's just policy"

I informed him I was on a date and wasn't comfortable removing my cap due to hair loss, to which he replied "well then you'll have to sit somewhere else"

So we decided to leave and go and dine somewhere else.

I have just got back from 5 weeks of travelling around Europe, where I ate at some amazing restaurants in Europes biggest cities, and not once was I asked to remove my cap.

So it felt strange to be asked in a hotel in West Birdgeford that actually looks like it needs some renovating. The carpets probably do more damage to the appearance than me wearing a cap...

Nice clean room with good buffet breakfast and good location for my needs. Didn't use the gym or sauna, so I can't comment on these.
