Absolutely lovely place to stay, really accommodating and pleasant.
Our dog was treated like a little princess throughout the stay and the room was lovely. Beautiful surroundings and excellent transport links to attractions.

Staff were friendly and attentive, couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable.

The food was incredible also and we ate dinner most nights there. All fresh and again staff were wonderful.

Highly recommend and sill be coming back for sure.

Thank you

Room was beautiful and had everything we needed, location is great and the majority of staff were friendly and helpful. However the service provided by bar staff was abysmal. We ordered drinks at the bar on first evening. The girl started to pour my drink then literally wandered off with no explanation! When my drink eventually was served, it was completely different to what I had asked for. The second occasion was no better. You either need more bar staff or the current ones need training.

Lovely hotel with lots of character. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel also offers free parking on site.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, a real credit to the hotel. Communication prior to our stay was excellent.
Breakfast was delicious and excellent service throughout.
The setting in the village of Ripley is stunning with Ripley Castle on the doorstep and the added bonus of free entry to the castle gardens and deer park for guests at the hotel.

Top prices for a poor service, all tables etc taken out of garden except for a couple of sets for residents only! People in need left to sit on grass and walls absolutely appalling. Been coming here for years when in the area but no more, highly suspect the owners don't live nearby or if they do then totally indifferent to care in the community or just common decency absolute shame.

I don't know about the rooms as we only ate there as we were staying local the food was excellent and the service just as good. Prices are reasonable and we were allowed to have our dogs with us which is why we chose to eat here.

What a wonderful place! In late September, we booked lunch for 10 people to celebrate a 60th and an 89th birthday in the family. Booking was easy and efficient, the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, accommodating (we were probably the last to leave!) and friendly and the food was really lovely. Great ambience, good service and wonderful food - thank you for making a birthday celebration such a special and memorable day.
