This hotel really deserves those 5 stars in all aspects, specially for the fantastic team, they are the true gem of the property. From the very first interaction we already felt extremely looked after, even after that until now they go the extra mile with every single thing you need and take care of every detail. Big shout out to Adrian for helping me to get my luggage back from the airline I flew with, he really did go beyond expectations and I am very grateful for that. We will be back.

We stayed for 4 nights at the beautiful Prince Akatoki and it was THE most amazing hotel experience I've ever had! The whole ambience was that of warmth, relaxation and comfort with a distinct scent around the hotel, that was heavenly.
I'm so grateful to the exceptional Night manager Jamal and the staff for their welcoming and accommodating manner. The attention to detail, the divinely fresh and authentic Japanese food, the room, the care of every aspect of my whole stay made it unforgettable! I even had the oppurtunity to wear a Yukata, which I absolutely loved whilst I did my work.
Thank you 😊.
The only negative was...that I had to leave! X

I had dinner at the Toki restaurant. Great food , not loud and a quality sake selection fantastic setting . The hotel also has another small bar.

I left my phone to charge and left. The next morning I realised and emailed the hotel and restaurant and in the morning the hotel was responding and I spoke to a staff member who had confirmed they kept the phone safely.

The hotel and restaurant is small but the staff across the board are fantastic. I can highly recommend for people to visit the restaurant if you crave quality Japanese and a boutique environment.

Nice atmosphere and scent (!). Unfortunately I was offered a room at entrance level near the lounge and a connecting door made some noise in the late evening as folks were retiring. Great breakfast and ok gym.

We stayed at the Prince Akatoki for our wedding and we were overjoyed by the service we received. Considering all of the behind the scenes difficulties that go into making your day the best possible, the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and did everything they could to ease the process. Beyond that the room was exceptionally comfortable and the food and bar service sublime.

We were lucky enough to be gifted an Afternoon Tea at the Prince Akatoki, although it looks small from the outside the beauty and size really is inside!

The foyer is spacious with simple furnishing which really compliment the overall vibe of the hotel. We were shown to the Restaursnt promptly, where after a short while of the host/waiter fumbling, we were sat at our table. We asked to be moved as we knew the size wouldn’t be enough for everything included, the new table was bigger but a draft from the window also joined us.
A quick glance around the room, and there were a few tables which still had dirty plates on, and it seems everyone avoided these (my thoughts were “it’s not my job” so they were left for someone else)

Although there were a lot of staff on, the overall speed of service wasn’t great. I have to highlight that the ladies on the floor were aware and smiling all the time (except for the blonde lady who looked like she resentful toward her job).

We raised a nut allergy that my partner had (they were aware of this at the booking) and the waiter knew this too. He returned to us shortly after to ask if “sesame and pistachio” were ok… Working in a 5 Star hotel, you’d have though that a waiter would know a pistachio was a nut.

The teas arrived, nothing too overwhelming. The peppermint was refreshing and the Ceremonial Grass tea was different but delicious.
Once the food arrived, I have to say, it was incredible. The flavours were great and the presentation was not poncy! They were nice enough to replace the pistachio desert with a cheesecake.

Once we finished, we waited probably 15 minutes for someone to clear the first part of AT away and ask us if we were ready for the scones. Once we said yes, a further half hour later the scones hadn’t arrived. We flagged down another male server who promptly asked the kitchen to fire up two scones. These came over within 5 minutes.
Warm, tasty and fluffy. Definitely a nice end to the food!

Unfortunately, once again we were looking for the male server who had been (sort of) looking after us for our time. I flagged down the kind lady with the glasses and the bob (I didn’t catch her name) and asked where our server had gone. Although she didn’t know, she immediately asked if she could help. We simply asked what we needed to square up. Unfortunately I asked another server, and they told me that our server wasn’t on the floor, most likely “on break or probably gone home, I don’t know”. The least required at this level of establishment should be a hand over of the guests you’re looking after whilst you’re absent or about to leave.

Although the hotel, decor and bathrooms are beautiful, the service from some of the staff could be a lot better. Dressing in a suit doesn’t mean you’re able to do the role well. 1 star lost due to the underwhelming service from our server, but honestly everything else was good.

What a fantastic place. From the moment you first walk in, you know that you'll have a lovely experience. The hotel decor is charming, the staff are lovely and professional, and all the amenities are tip quality. We loved our room (one bedroom suite) and have nothing but great words to say. The bar was charming.

Stayed there few weeks ago and I must say that from the concierge that welcomed us with an amazing smile to room service was absolutely amazing!!

The highlight was the bar, we managed to meet the F&B Director Francesco a true gentleman he has such an amazing charisma, super welcoming, he explained his Japanese whisky so easily you can really see he loves what he do and can't believe he is Mexican /Italian wow which was even better as we exchange stories about Mexico making our stay very pleasant.

I wish other Directors or staff from other venues could come and see and learn from Francesco and his amazing team !! Thank you again and I'll be seeing you guys definitely soon
