The Old Vicarage

We would like to start by saying a big thank you to all of the staff who helped to make our day so perfect - a special thanks to Laura who was absolutely brilliant throughout. The day ran so smoothly and we could not have picked a more amazing wedding venue - it was everything we had hoped for, and more. The whole venue was pristine throughout, the food was incredible (and in decent sized portions), and the bar was well stocked with a range of drinks. All of our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and commented on how beautifully decorated the rooms were. We were so pleased that we booked exclusivity the night before as it was so lovely to wake up, get ready and have breakfast at the venue on the morning of the wedding. Despite all of the challenges around Covid at the time, the staff were great at getting back to us over email and answering any questions we had - they were also very accommodating when we needed to make any changes to our plans. Excellent stay.
The hotel is decorated and furnished with a modern and contemporary feel. The staff without exception were first class and the food was outstanding.
This all made the stay perfect from start to finish.
Could not fault, highly recommend.

Lovely, wedding venue, limited numbers, so not the right place for a big wedding but excellent for an intimate family affair. Still challenging times for the hospitality side of life but these guys nailed it for us.

The grounds are stunning, rooms spacious and perfect. Lobby welcoming , bar perfectly stocked. Driveway and parking everything was impeccable!

The venue has been very well looked after and the standards are High.

The staff were pleasant and dressed smart with warm welcoming smiles and attentiveness.

We got married at The Old Vicarage on the 1st of June and all we can say is, if you’re on the fence about booking here, go for it and you won’t regret it! They were so helpful with advice and recommendations during the planning process (thank you Laura and Chelsea!) and on the day made sure everything ran like clockwork and were all so lovely. The venue is the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen. We had an outdoor ceremony with was amazing, and they set up both inside and outside to be prepared if any rain spoilt our plans! The food was to die for- I definitely wasn’t one of those brides who don’t eat anything- I was stuffed! And the bartender made some great cocktails and kept everyone happy all night- he even made some mocktails for my friends who weren’t drinking which they loved. To top it all off we had a great night sleep and a delicious breakfast the next day! Thank you all so much for making our day perfect! -Katie and Nathan 1/6/22

From the moment we stepped through the front door we knew we wanted the old vicarage to be our wedding venue. We felt so at ease and welcome it was just perfect. We had complete trust in all of the staff from the moment we started talking to them about our wedding. It was quite a daunting feeling having to organise a wedding but Laura and Chelsea were absolute gems! They helped with any questions we had and we just knew they had everything under control. We found correspondence was super fast and we never felt under pressure or like we had to wait for a reply regarding any questions we had. On the day of the wedding (October 2021) everything ran so smoothly (we knew it would and we were in safe hands) and everything was just perfect. We had a very intimate wedding with 18 guests and we truly believe no other venue could have made our day as special as it was. The food was absolutely delicious, all of our guests commented on how amazing the food was!😋 all of the staff were professional and so efficient! We couldn’t have asked for more! We stayed the night of the wedding and I would definitely recommend it. Every room is just perfect!

This venue is simply outstanding for weddings having just attended that of my niece this last weekend. I cannot praise the staff highly enough and the food was superb. The whole venue has superb decor and beautiful bedrooms. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
