The reception were super helpful, all very dog friendly, Mark the server in the bar and dog area is fabulous! Rooms were spacious and had everything you needed, all nicely decorated.
1 recommendation would be if they had better signs for breakfast for people with and without dogs...... We saw many guests very lost because it's not clear.

BE AWARE to take your deposit back!

They charge you for a £50 deposit on arrival and say it’ll be returned automatically within few days after checkout, however, we didn’t receive ours. When I chased them after a month, they didn’t even say sorry and said they’ll return the deposit soon. I waited and never received it back and when I chased again, they claimed they had returned it. I asked them for a proof of payment/return if that’s the case, however I didn’t get anything. So ensure you get your deposit back or consider it gone if you go to this hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Rooms are very clean. Staff are really helpful. The beds/pillows are excellent. First bed in years I've been comfortable in. Didn't try the restaurant because we were meeting friends. But the sandwich I had in the bar was fresh with crisps and salad. I would definitely stay again.

I was turned away as my name or partners name apparently not on the computer! Sent 'round the corner' to a similar hotel. Got the booking sent to me, as I walked through the door, another member of staff delt with me and all was sorted. Excuses attempt by original staff member but didn't wash. Beautiful building, old enough to hear the people trotting about above at 1:30am! Told them to be quiet! Clean. Toilet seat had smear marks from cleaning but at least it has been cleaned. Comfortable bed and room. More tea & coffee needed. If this wasn't a hotel it would make an excellent nursing home! One small slow lift, used by staff so you may have a wait. Hotel in a great position, near the sea.

Excellent location, nice decor didn't stay only had dinner in public rooms.
Busy night food was adequate but a bit cold. Had to ask for enough veg and sufficient gravy. Staff friendly and helpful worked hard. Atmosphere good.

We booked this hotel as a venue for my father's funeral. Marianne the in-house even coordinator was so kind and compassionate and the staff were great on the day. The food package options were very good value and good quality and the venue is lovely. Everything was taken care of. We couldn't have asked for more, thank you.

Had a lovely two night stay! Great staff who were all very helpful and welcoming. Spotlessly clean room, with a bed that was soooo amazingly comfortable. The bar downstairs is a lovely little spot for a drink.
The Hotel is situated right on the Leas. Just a 10 minute stoll, with great views across the Channel, and you're into the town centre.
Recommended and wouldn't hesitate to return 👍

The Hotel is full of charm and character yet modern, clean with good facilities [Bars plus restaurant] . The Staff were lovely, very friendly and professional. The food was awesome, well done that Chef ! The location was perfect, close to Sea for nice sea walks. Best of all was the service our Dog received - his own Quilt/bed laid out ready for his arrival to our room plus Water bowl ! I have never been provided with a dog bed by a hotel before... very nice touch ! Definitely will stay again when we are crossing by Channel Tunnel [Hotel not far from eurotunnel]. Highly recommend this Hotel
