This is a very Pleasant inn, with a very 'old world' vibe. Rooms are nice, food is delicious, and staff are very friendly.
Trust me, try the risotto of scallops, you will be lost fo words!
There are spa facilities too, at extra cost, but the modest gym is free to guests. Available for weddings too.
I would definitely visit again.

My daughter had her wedding here, the most beautiful day. The hotel was perfect, the staff who were on hand throughout our stay couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. From our dinner on the friday night, through the wedding on the saturday to breakfast and checkout on the sunday... all was perfect.

This is one of the best spas I've Been to, the staff are attentive friendly and helpful. The salt room was so nice I've never been I one before. Staff couldn't do enough to help get drinks etc. I had a facial and back massage and must say it was the best back massage I've ever had. The whole day was relaxing and chilled as it should be. Lunch was delicious and perfectly cooked felt very luxurious top marks to the chef. I can't wait to book and go again. I highly recommend this spa.

A lovely traditional Inn, friendly welcoming staff, huge room and bathroom decorated to a high standard. Warm log fire was a great place to enjoy a well kept pint or 2!
Would recommend and revisit.

Great overnight stay with the family for a birthday celebration. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Dinner in the main restaurant was lovely, lots of choice and great tastes. Breakfast options were brilliant. Coffee could be improved but overall a great place for a weekend away.

Nice food and lovely building

They started our spa late, the spa including facilities were cold and took until the afternoon to warm up.

They had no vegan food that I could buy prior to my meal between 10am and 2pm other than popcorn/crisps. They wouldn't serve toast as you can only have breakfast/toast if you preorder the day before.

We didn't stay, we were here for a meal. The staff were attentive to begin with. The starters were delicious and well presented. The mains, both had curry, far too hot to taste the ingredients. Rice was microwaved and chewy. Naan bread wasn't made in house, it was like a frisby. Dips came after the main course??? Dessert was delicious, however, it took a very long time to order and at least half an hour to actually have it put in front of us. We did enquire about it and was told 2 mins wait but it was at least 20 mins and this was after we had been waiting ages. Shame as we usually we love it here.
