The Kirklands Hotel

I visited the hotel with my young family as a stop off for our onward travels up the coast of Scotland.
From the second we stepped through the main door to we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were polite, respectful and very friendly, taking time to see how we were after our travels. We ate in the restaurant and we were not disappointed, excellent choice foe adults and children and the quality was excellent, the homemade burgers went down a treat with our two youngest and the teenager size steak and chips went down just as well, prefect portion sizing for a growing 9 year old.
We stayed in the family suite and it was prefect, two very generous size bedrooms, bathroom with a shower over the bath and a just as generous living room with tv.
Overall our stay was just what the doctor ordered to break up our 9 hour trip from Yorkshire, finished off with a cracking breakfast to help us on our way.
We couldn't fault our stay at the Kirklands and we would recommend it to anyone, including families.

Went here for a family meal, every meal we had was well received. The burgers were really tasty and a generous size. Deserts very good quality too. Staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Pity the don't have more parking out front but there were free of charge marked parking bays a little further up the street

Went with friends for dinner at this hotel. The initial greeting was very friendly and we were asked if we would like to have a drink before dinner which we duly did. Service was superb and very efficient. Dinner was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the service again was very professional and polite. The whole experience was superb. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely be back.

Nice accommodation for our one night visit. The room was very spacious and the staff friendly. I did not get to enjoy the restaurant but my husband enjoyed it.

This is a lovely hotel with a warm friendly welcome. The staff really go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The breakfast is fantastic with everything from porridge to full breakfast and the evening menu is varied and very tasty.I wish I'd have stayed longer!

A big shout out to this wonderful place. We had difficulty with our camper van and they hosted us in their lounge and allowed us to use their Wi-Fi as we spent hours sorting out our difficulties . What wonderful hospitality. Thank you

We stopped here for one night on our way from Inverness back to Edinburgh. The owners were incredibly friendly, hospitable and helpful. The were happy to provide us with anything we asked for. The room was a great size, clean and comfortable. Another plus was the bathtub. If we come back to Scotland, we’d love to stay here again.

Great breakfast with Santa 🎅🎅at the Kirklands. Would definitely recommend and if we can get away with having another year we'll be back next year🎅🎅
