What an absolute joke. Called to make an appointment, the call was disconnected after 30 mins, called back and was on hold for 1hr 25mins to only be disconnected again after being first in the queue. Called again and so far I've been on hold 1hr and 47mins and I've been first in the queue for about half hour. Only 15 mins until they close. Very unhappy. Who are they talking to for half hour plus????

I have been patient at Earby Surgery all my life and have always had excellent care and service from them and, in recent years, a similar standard from the Colne Surgery since they merged together. The receptionists are always helpful and the Practice Nurses and vast majority of Doctors I've seen have been thorough and caring, especially Drs Phil and Jo Huxley and Dr Horsfield. Unfortunately, since Covid things have changed with all GP Services and it's much harder to get appointments, however I have no hesitation in recommending the Pendle Medical Partnership to any potential new patients and have done to many already over the years.

I really can't understand how this practice has so many negative reviews. The reception staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The GP"s I have had consultations with have been very understanding, caring and very thorough on every occasion. Megan, the health care assistant is lovely. I don't mind waiting a while for an appointment if it's not urgent. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't so difficult to get a same day appointment when I contact the surgery at 08:00. When you ring at 08:00 how on earth can you be 11th in the queue? However, despite that, I would definitely recommend this practice.

The fact that you only have an hour between 8 and 9 in the morning to try to get an appointment isn't great and their telephone system needs an overhaul. However, the staff is kind and friendly and I've never felt anything other than well treated. I have several autoimmune illnesses so this is crucial for me. Dr Huxley is the best GP I've ever had.

Terrible experience, everyone else has to get on in a post pandemic Covid world while these doctors hide behind a Covid curtain. No wonder our hospitals are over run. A simple appointment could well have save my elderly mother from a two week stay in Airedale…..

Sorry to say I've found it impossible to get a face to face appointment. Twice been dismissively told to go to urgent care if needed. Quite depressing really.

I rarely review a service like this because people will often attribute their emotional experience to the service as opposed to their situation, however, I shall make an exception.

Handed in a registration form, complete with all information and they lost it. No record of it whatsoever. Sounds like an incredible breach of GDPR to me and now have to wait even longer to start my Covid vaccination course.

The ONLY reason its not 1 star is the staff member on the phone was very apologetic.

don't go to this surgery if you need HELP. AVOID at all costs. Only reason why it's got 1 star is cos I wouldn't give them any stars. Now I'm having to go and find another practice as the lady on reception wasn't very helpful despite being in so much pain
