Shelley Surgery

my experience of the service provided by this Surgery is extremely positive. Shelley Road cared for my 97year old Mother in her own home until her death. We live some 2 hours drive away which could have been a problem. Not to this practice, the reception staff were always very helpful when I phoned.Particular thanks to Dr Daniel for his patience with me and explaining an end of life care plan.We are extremely grateful for all the support they offered to us as Mother's time came to an end.I wish our surgery in Buckinghamshire was a half as good as this.

I have been registered at Shelley Road for some years and do not think the negative reviews here are justified. GP practices are under considerable pressure and need our support. The sense of entitlement displayed by the negative reviewers is wholly unjustified in the current climate. Busy people are sometimes abrupt but I have not experienced any discourtesy from receptionists, nurses or doctors. The reverse is the case. I might have given 4 stars but to redress the balance I am rating Shelley Road 5.

Called for my partner about her eating disorder and the doctors first and only question is why has it taken so long to call.
No interest in helping patients whatsoever

It's sad that GP can fall so low that it makes people angry . Prisoners have better treatment .

It's very poor to be honest. Having been here for 7 years; everything is a fight. A simple call like today (just before 2pm) takes 45 mins to get through. Staff are in general friendly as are the doctors and pharmacy staff. It's just an example of a surgery having too many patients. Tried to get Covid jab but they had ran out... Tried to get flu jab was told to go to boots. Every dendrite of the NHS (and it's profit making subsidiaries) are falling apart at the seams.

Good surgery. Been here twice in the last week for flu and covid jabs. The staff on both occasions were very well organised and polite. It was so well arranged that both times I was in and out in under five minutes. Congratulations to all involved you are doing your profession proud.

Just want to say how wonderful this Pracitce is, the most helpful and prompt service. Very friendly and helpful receptionists and GP and nurses are wonderful and have helped me with every problem I have had. Well done everyone at Shelley road surgery, it’s been a tough year for everyone and you have been fantastic. Thankyou.
