I am a customer at the Preston store I have recently had lens replacement surgery. I would highly recommend this store for excellent eye care. Niam the store manager and Jay the optician have gone above and beyond what I expected providing helpful and knowledgeable advice. Niam bends over backwards to assist. Nothing was to much effort. They were always available and able to answer any query Jay is an especially knowledgeable optician. I wouldn’t consider going to anyone else. Follow up after the surgery was reassuring and thorough. My wife is also a customer and is impressed by the service she receives.

Aren’t interested in your custom.Arrived for my confirmed appointment to tell me it’s been cancelled, having taken an afternoon off work, for two people (for a lift), and despite having an appointment confirmation and a same day text reminder, it was just tough I wasn’t in for an appointment! Can’t even get their appointment system right, with no offer of alternatives or assistance when it’s their fault - just tough, I’m certainly not going to pay them thousands for eye surgery!

Had my consultation here at the Preston branch for my laser eye surgery, all the staff were very very helpful and informative. Guided me through the entire process and reduced any anxieties I had. Would highly recommend this branch as allll the staff and surgeons are exceptional. Have recommended all family and friends to this store

Had lens replacement 1 month the ago.The procedure was done in Manchester but prior to this I had my evaluation done in Preston and my 1 month follow up in Preston which was much more convenient for me.
Excellent service and friendly staff in both locations.
It has opened up a brighter, clearer more colourful life for me.

For many years both my wife and I have not only been customers of the Preston Branch of Optical express but now seriously consider and class all the staff there as friends.
They are all so helpful and professional and really do go that extra mile to ensure that if you do have any issues with the health of the eyes that they are there to give you that support.
That goes for all of the staff at Preston.
Many thanks to Janeed one of Prestons Optometrists for taking the time and effort to go through my wife's eye health records and then personally ringing us up to go through everything in layman's terms and giving us advice.
Thanks to Calaf and Neem for their support and help in making sure that we received the information requested.
What a great team.
We are so glad we chose Optical Express....... and of course the Preston branch.....

So I had my consultation at Preston and it's so professional and yet they treat you like a person who matters.
My surgery was done yesterday and was fantastic
So today I returned to Preston and I can't recommend this company enough
Everyone you meet is so lovely and helpful
Courteous and professional but kind and knowledgeable. I'm so glad I chose them

Excellent! Visited for my 24hr post laser eye surgery check. Lovely friendly staff. Everything all great I now have better than 20/20 vision. Thank you all very much!

I had a consultation today and left feeling very disappointed. Laser was something I’ve been considering for years and today was my first consultation. When greeted , the receptionist did not really say much. I asked to use the toilet downstairs and when coming up. I realised you can only open the door from the outside. I stood there for around 5 minutes and three members of staff noticed and burst out laughing. I did not find it funny , a member of staff came over and said I thought I heard knocking and laughed. I thought this was very unprofessional. Before my appt, I was told it would be an hour and half & to arrange transport home as my eyesight will be blurry. I done this and left work early to make this appointment. The lady told me she wouldn’t do the drops today and I should make another appointment. I was very confused. I was taken to another room to talk about the price with a different lady. That’s all that seemed important, the money. I asked why was the full consultation not done as I had made arrangements for this. She didn’t have much to say, she asked if I wanted it done now and I said I was told this was part of my consultation. This made me feel very un easy so I said no. They asked if I wanted to go ahead with it and I said I would think about it. Why would I decide to go ahead with such a life changing surgery with this company when the consultation was not done correctly. It’s such a shame as I was so excited but I would rather take my money and eyes somewhere else.
