I do NOT recommend this business. They have no sense of customer service, they are extremely self-serving and profiteering. I had a very bad experience trying to get emergency glasses made up - as both pairs are broken. I can hardly see or drive, yet they promised to help and when I showed up they said they could not help me and showed me the door. I still have not been able to get any glasses made up. This pandemic is so difficult for us all. They could have treated me with some dignity and solved my problem but they completely put me in harms way. I have never written a negative review in my life! If they apologise to me and make it right I will post the news here.

Really friendly and helpful, both with normal eye exams and when I have needed the WECS service! They have a good choice of frames and I am very happy with my Zeiss 'Drive Safe' varifocal lenses.

Fab service stopped on the off chance that I could get my partners sunglasses fixed, despite being appointment only a lovely chap came out, fixed the arm and cleaned them. He then gave us directions on an alternative walk back to where we had parked - what a great friendly service - Thank you !! 😊

Lovely service and help again from Owain at Blink optical. After a discussion on what frames I wanted Owain did research and ordered online a few different colours to try. One of which I've bought with a fab blue react light lense No hard sell unlke the big boys his only concern was my happiness and right frame for me. Thanks and I'll be recommending u guys. 3rd time been there and not the last.

At the height of the pandemic last year I foolishly bought spectacles from another optician. No names but I shouldn't have gone there: it took them 4 attempts to make me glasses I could see better with than without. So I went back to Mel and Owain recently and got a super stylish pair of specs that were perfect first time, just as they had done a few years ago. And a very smart pair of brand name sunglasses. You may pay a bit more but good style and quality are guaranteed, as is very professional service.
