Really disappointing store visit. To the Area Manager this store needs your attention and you need a new Branch Manager here. These stores back in the day use to be a real treat to walk round. Stinking Hot no aircon, no air it made it really uncomfortable to walk round and enjoy. My partner looking for a new pair of walking boot from £150+ just walked away. The store itself was such a mess, POS & Stock everywhere, messy signage and pricing missing. This store is in need of a lot of maintenance. Stain carpets it looks so run down. Toilets were absolutely filthy, these had not been cleaned for forever, duck tape holding on a toilet roll holder to the wall. Stained walls. Have some pride in what you do. Staff helpful but also working in conditions not pleasant. Uninspiring !

Awful experience once again. Checked stock online for click and collect, all I'm stock and can collect straight away. Decided to pop in to have a look at said item. Asked one of the young chaps where it was, he advised out back and would fetch it. He came back and said oh it's in a box and not sure which one? Can't you check with someone? Maybe it's written on the box? Well no there's too many!!! Basically it was 7pm and he couldn't be bothered was more like it.

I ordered a tent from the Exeter store and went to pick up after receiving a text saying it was ready for me. I got to the store and John went to get my tent, after a few minutes he came back and said he couldn't find it and went to his supervisor who couldn't find it either. After about 15 minutes went by and they said that the tent was out of stock!. Craig and Jason were very apologetic and said I could have a different tent at reduced cost.
After emailing Gooutdoors I have had no response!

Constant beeping from security tags is really annoying. Nearly walked out due to it. Queue at tills was ridiculous. Staff stood around chatting while queue getting longer. When 2nd till finally opened manager required for simple transaction delaying even further. Avoid at Weekends or of busy. Good range of products. Reasonable prices if on sale but check others online for price match.

The service is just too slow. Fair enough they have lots of camping products, but no staff working to actually help you. Would rather spend the extra on fuel and go elsewhere. Literally 15 minutes in the queue.. there was 2 people in front of me.. the kid had no clue. Ben H was the server.. avoid if possible.
And looking at the previous reviews, the manager clearly needs a new job, can't manage the staff or the store.

Jason was very helpful and his knowledge was excellent in answering all my questions about walking equipment. He recommended the best options for the budget I had available.

My partner wanted to go and have a look round.Its quite a big place and loads of different outdoor goods.

Very helpful staff , great choice of clothing at a good price. A good shopping experience always
