Pretty good sale on when I went. Great sales advice Angelo. Don't lean on the wall in the changing room it moves!

Purchased 2 sleeping bags from here today. One was a “top of the range” - duck filled, expedition sleeping bag which had an original price ticket, of nearly £300.

Thankfully it was drastically reduced, but I still wanted more information and help on my choice than was offered by the shop assistant, who spoke poor English.

As it was way out of reach on a top shelf (obviously to deter thieves), the assistant had to get step ladders to retrieve it. He seemed reluctant to open the stuff sack that contained the bag to show it to me. There was an almost identical bag next to it (at the same price), but of slightly less technical specification; and it wasn’t easy to choose between the two because of little advice imparted by the sales assistant.

Would’ve liked some technical advice but there didn’t seem to be any qualified staff on hand - only young assistants eager to take your money and offer items that were on sale for “half price with any purchase”.

I genuinely feel that if you’re going to sell top of the range, high quality/technical goods - then you should have the product knowledge and offer as much information as you can; to prospective customers.

Mountain Warehouse should be very proud and grateful for the staff they have in the Worcester branch, extremely knowledgable and friendly, I bought a pair of walking boots on Tuesday, so far they're great!

I recently went to Mountain Warehouse with my son who was looking for work trousers. Unfortunately, he had a seizure whilst in the shop and I want to applaud the two assistants, Jonathan and Isaac who came to our aid. They were very calm and reassuring to me whilst I dealt with my son and even when he came to and wandered around the store, not fully ‘with it’, they remained unperturbed and asked if there was anything else I needed. I was even told that, had I wished them to clear the store to give my son a safe space, they would have done that. These staff helped to make this episode so much less traumatic for me and gave my son the support he needed. Many thanks.
