Chorley Pharmacy

I come in monthly to pick up my boyfriends prescription. I find it awful that they shout over 2 desks and a plastic shield asking people their names, DOB and address. Where is the confidentiality?? So glad that I don’t use this pharmacy for own prescriptions.
Awful awkward situation monthly. I don’t want complete strangers knowing my bfs personal details.

A huge thank you to the gentleman on the pharmacy team. My daughter needed an emergency supply of catherter bags ( her usually supplier had messed up her order and left her without any). He went out of his way to help and found her some as this is something they don't normally keep in stock. So very grateful for your help. We will definitely be using you for her future orders.

Service is normally not that bad, not amazing and not all staff are bad neither however, depends on what you are asking for is dependant on the reaction given, face shown in which should be neutral. Only it isn't... that shouldn't be happening in a town chemist

I come in for monthly private prescriptions and drop them off. I’ve attempted to give them multiple chances as it’s in a convenient location for me, but there is always extensive waiting times.
I have left and said I would collect in a few days and then returned and it is still not ready. Waiting times have been over 45 minutes at a time before I’ve said I would come back on an alternate date.
On one occasion I’ve complained and the manager came over. He apologised, which I appreciated, however it was in such a way that made me feel like I was unwarranted complaining and making a huge fuss over nothing.
Staff are polite, but waiting times are incredibly slow and this is a really big factor for me. I’m happy to drop off a px and collect when it’s ready even if this means on another day, it just never seems to happen.

The biggest problem with this chemist is that they never answer the phone that is why they have got one star

Always busy but they are always working hard as far as i can see. Best to go in the daytime midweek or later on (open till 10pm) if you want to avoid a queue. I have been using them for ages and never had any issues.

Went to try and buy something today, As I walked up to the counter the person being served was attended to and went. The assistant left the counter without looking or speaking to me. I waited for a while and then asked themif they had what I wanted. The other assistant just said 'No', there was no suggestion of something else to try or somewhere else to go.

I thought they were rude and unhelpful.

Don't answer phone calls. Repeatedly rang on different days and different times. Once when answered phone not polite - very abrupt.
