Hunt's Pharmacy

Had my second jab here, and the staff were very pleasant. That being said, it was advertised on the NHS website as being wheelchair accessible, and it really isn't. Yeah, it has a wheelchair ramp, but at the top of that ramp is a step. The door is also not automatic. Have you ever tried opening a heavy door while in a wheelchair on an incline? That's difficult enough without the little step in the way. Even with someone holding the door, and my partner pushing my wheelchair, it was a huge struggle to get in.

5 Stars is not enough! 10 is the number I'm thinking about. I've been right at the end of my tether struggling to get my monthly repeat prescription. 😪 Losing sleep over it and worrying everyday where to try next.My own surgery just told me to keeping looking as they couldn't get it. So no help at all. I tried all of the big stores ..nothing! Then I came to Hunt's Pharmacy meeting Louise and staff. WOW when they realised (very quickly) what I was going through, Louise made it her mission to get me sorted out before I left the shop. She did indeed. She rang all of the connections she had and eventually found all of my items in one place ! The relief I felt was truly amazing. I could now use my meds as prescribed and not half dosing incase I ran out as I had been doing!
I cannot thank you all enough I am so 🙏 grateful.

Hunts pharmacy is truly customer centric. Going above and beyond to supply an out of stock prescription item.

Poor customer service, they were asked not to send out a repeat prescription as
we would collect. When my wife turned up to pick it up they sent it out with the driver anyway. The driver did not even attemp delivery. My wife returned 2 half hrs later still no driver. they lied when they said they could not contact their delivery driver when she first went yet when she went back a girl at the back said she had been talking to him because he only had 2 deliverys left. The parcel was in such a state they had to put it in a new bag when he returned. Shambles, no consideration. Worse chemist we have ever been to. hunts do not deserve the one star.

Tryed to go in today as being used as a vaccine centre at the moment is hard to get into just to use the pharmacy as have to pass everyone waiting for their vaccines I understand that this is needed at the moment but makes you feel really unsafe as there is not much room to move if a lot of people waiting.
