Can never get through when I call I get cut off after 10 rings, appalling service when you need a prescription sent to then and actually have to speak to them for them to start processing the script. I pay for my prescriptions, I don't expect to have to take three or 4 hours of my day trying to sort them and for that reason alone I am changing both my surgery which is also just as incompetent and my pharmacy to a more efficient and cooperative group of employees.

I naively read the reviews here, and thought, it can't be that bad? Surely?
Absolutely horrendous service. Booked 2x kids in for Chicken Pox Vaccine, the IT is very good at sending reminders - but upon turning up the Pharmacy at right time and date, they had no record of the bookings. Moreover the Pharmacist in the shop was not qualified to give the jab. Took time off work, wasted an hour and a half/40mile round trip and £10 in fuel. NOT ACCEPTABLE. This Pharmacy should NOT be accepting bookings for a service it can't provide. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This is a small pharmacy so collecting your prescription at peak times will result in having to queue and due to being situated in a highly populated area it deals with a very heavy workload. I can only praise the staff as they are always most helpful and polite, yes I have been asked to come back on a different day because my prescription cannot be fulfilled due to certain medications being out of stock but I accept that as it is due the reasons mentioned above. I have always been given clear instructions on when to collect medications that have been ordered in and have not been let down. The staff can take a little time sorting through the mountain of prepared prescriptions but so do most local pharmacies. Thank you to all the staff at Well Thornhill Pharmacy you are appreciated and offer a good service.

We have given you money for a service. You assure us the service is running - one which is hard to find let alone get to within Hampshire. When we turn up, having not been informed there has been trouble - you say you have a locum for cover and they're 'not qualified' to perform the service offered and paid for. You should have informed us ahead of time and we had to push to be offered a different date - useless as the service we wanted, a chickenpox vaccine, was because of exposure and is required to be given within 3-5 days - and I fully expect the replacement appointment to be cancelled with no notice either. Do not go, do not trust.

I've been to this pharmacy twice in the last week. The first time for myself and the member of staff outthe front was rude, rolling her eyes at me, huffing and puffing at me because I asked a question. 2nd time was because my 2 year old had had an emergency prescription sent to them. They did not have what she needed so gave me the prescription to take elsewhere. Once I found a pharmacy that had all she needed they couldnt release it to me because Well Thornhill had not released the prescription on the system. By this time Well Thornhill were closed so I had to wait until the next day to get a prescription that my daughter urgently needed. If I could give this pharmacy 0 out of 5 stars I would as I am disgusted with the way they work. All staff need retraining in how to do their jobs and what customer service is

Yet again this branch have shown themselves to be THE MOST INCOMPETENT ever! One of their assistants booked me in for a flu jab. I turned up for it only to be told I'd made an error with my date of birth! When I explained the assistant booked it and it was her that had made the error, there was no apology. No stock for under 65's so I have to start the process from scratch again - just hope I don't get the flu before I get a chance to be jabbed! They never get anything right! Grrr....
