service has deteriorated over past several months, there is always a long line of customers, service is very slow and they have changed their opening hours so that they close early, now only open till 2pm on Saturdays & closed on Sundays. I used to really like Lloyds but I find it unusable nowadays. No one wants to stand in a long line and wait for ages to be served. Wish they would sort it out :(

It never gets better so I'm now moving to a new pharmacy. Incredibly long queues, it's regularly unexpectedly closed, closes over lunchtime, and there's often a mix-up with prescriptions. It shouldn't be this hard getting my medicine.

The worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. Arrived at 1.20 and was told the pharmacist was on lunch and to come back in 30 min. I returned after 30 min and the pharmacist was still on lunch so I waited another 10 min. He returned and they came back to me after a further 15 minutes to say they don’t have the medication in stock. So Incompetent. I waited an hour to be told they don’t have it. Lost money as I had to pay for parking to wait. Rearranged my meeting as i needed this urgent prescription when I could of just gone somewhere else. So annoying. You should advertise that you close over lunch as I wouldn’t of come here in the first place.

Lloyds online let’s you book appointments for vaccinations, but when you turn up the staff have nobody qualified and complain about the fact the online booking system is still broken despite them telling head office. Wasted journey. Avoid.

Such slow service. Receptionist doesn't communicate and doesn't understand how pharmacy works. Pharmacists take 30 mins minimum to prepare prescriptions. Used to be a great pharmacy but gone massively downhill in the last 2 years.

Just came back from Lloyds after trying to pick up a prescription for a friend for the second time. First time I was told they didn’t have it , which I understand and figured the doctor got it wrong . Second time was today. I was told to come back in 1/2 hour to collect .Only to return and be told they didn’t have it ! I asked why they said to come back and the lady behind the counter said it’s because they had to wait for the Pharmacist to check to see if it was there! Makes no sense and a waste of my time.

Only allowing 3 customers in the pharmacy at a time due to COVID (which I can understand); HOWEVER some customers are clearly waiting in the store while their prescriptions are being prepared which then stops others from coming in to be served. The staff need to ask folk waiting for prescriptions to leave and come back later.

I've had at least 3 very poor experiences with this pharmacy and I've been reluctant to write a public review in the past, but my last experience was beyond appalling.

Earlier this week I was self-isolating with COVID so my flatmate kindly went to the pharmacy to pickup an unrelated prescription for me, sometime shortly after the pharmacy opened (~9am to 10am). They didn't have the various medications on hand so they told him to come back at 4pm - fair. When he did, he had to wait in a half hour queue. Despite the fact there were multiple staff, not many seemed to be busy, which is what I have certainly encountered in the past myself. They weren't communicating with customers in the line, nor answering customer calls (it's usually off the hook, I just tried). When he did finally get to the front of the line, the employee said it wasn't yet ready (somehow, after almost a a full day). They set off to arrange it but instead spent 5-10 minutes struggling to find any of the medication, and not only did it turn out they hadn't put together any of the medication, but they had lost the prescription! The simply apologised and sent him on his way so he returned with no medication and no prescription. Since then they have not reached out to apologise, nor did the contact my GP to arrange a repeat. I asked my GP for a repeat which will need to be posted out to me and will take at least a few days (particularly over the Christmas/NY break) but I am flying overseas this weekend so I won't have my medication in time.

Other experiences have been similar and it's beyond me that this place is still going. I can only assume that most customers are older and less likely to write a review or they are forced to use this due to proximity (at least I'm relatively young and can travel easily). I really hope something changes, but I would highly recommend steering clear. Even if you need to travel, the cost and time will be worth it. You will not regret going elsewhere.
