In order to leave a review I need to star this review - but if it was my choice I wouldn't have given it even one. Two days ago I rang up to check they had the prescription I was picking up for my friend. Yes. I said I would come and pick it up in a couple of hours. The lady said fine. I walked the 25 minute walk to the pharmacy. When I arrived there was a handwritten note on the door - 'Stock taking closed 1-2.30pm.' She had not mentioned anything about this on the phone. It was at that point 1.50. The staff studiously ignored me from beyond the locked door and simply pointed to the notice when I waved. I decided it was not worth walking all the way back home again and waited there for forty minutes. At 2.31, again ignoring my waves, the lady came, opened the door, and started to cross out '2.30' to write '3pm'. I asked if I could please collect the prescription. She said no there was a stock take taking place. I said I had waited 40 minutes because I had believed what was written on the sign - that they would open again at 2.30. She said it wasn't her fault the stock take was taking longer. I said they shouldn't have written it would open again at 2.30 if they weren't certain - I wouldn't have waited all that time. All she would repeat is 'I don't know what you want me to do.' Totally unapologetic and no responsibility taken for leaving people hanging. Very unpleasant and totally lacking in empathy, and no respect for the customer's time being utterly wasted.

Poor service, with very little respect given to customers.
Also, no one ever answers the phone.
If you are looking for friendly pharmacists, that are actually "happy" to help you, THIS ONE IS NOT IT.

I just had a horrible experience here. I was mistreated by an unprofessional worker who shouted at me because he couldn’t find the medication I needed. There was a lack of respect and I am in tears. He was angry and took it out on me in an aggressive and belligerent tone. The person was called Dean.

They everyday tell me that the pharmacist is not there and that’s why they cannot give me my medication despite I come every day in different times. This is disgusting. This is SO unprofessional. Their license should be withdrawn, and they have to get away from this business immediately to treat people and patients like this.

I have had issues with my prescriptions not being filled lately. Also being told that there is no prescription by staff in a very unhelpful way. The most annoying thing is in went twice in two days only by persistence of requesting my prescription at the counter, on second visit the staff found my prescription. Feeling frustrated in that it was probably there the whole time. I was made to feel that it was my problem. At the time of my visit another person was experiencing similar difficulties. I have chosen to move from Day Lewis due to the unhelpful and dismissive attitude of the staff at the time.

My absolute go to pharmacy. At first they were not super nice but then we started joking and since then every time i return they are always lovely, smiley and efficient! I must have come on a bad day the first time.
I also was very impressed by the empathy and kindness of one of the women who took me apart in time i really needed support she is the only person in the medical system in the UK who told me 'i want to help you'. That was so surprising and nice!

There has not been one time that I have come to this branch and been treated with dignity and respect . The male clerk at the counter , goes out of his way to be , unhelpful, disrespectful, wilfully arrogante and dismissive . I am never visiting this branch again . Because I’m not willing to be subjected to this kind of behaviour every time I need to go in . It’s going to be inconvenient to be (because this is my local branch ), but I’d rather walk miles , then go through this kind of treatment. And I’ve noticed that if you don’t fit the criteria (white and British ) you will receive that same kind of disrespectful treatment .
