Really nice n helpful ppl I always use this chemist

I’ve been a customer of Tanna pharmacy for years with no problems. However since Mr Tanna has left things have changed. To say the new staff lack people skills is an understatement.
I am a 47 year old woman currently receiving medication for depression and psychosis and OCD, I am not unable to hold a conversation nor am I at risk to myself or others. However on a couple of occasions now when I’ve been to collect/ speak to them about my medication, I’ve been dismissed and the staff have asked to speak to my daughter.
Where she in turn has given the same information that I was giving them.
There lack of people skills and awareness of mental health is astonishing, I have left on both occasions very upset and feeling let down in general by this service.
I am leaving this review so that others are aware of the level of customer service before they find themselves in the same situation. It’s such a shame as it was a nice little chemist, well run with a personal touch. I’ve left the one star as one of the original ladies that works behind the counter is really nice and helpful.

So sad to find out that Mr. Tanna has left and the chemist has changed hands. All new faces and Indian lady with glasses extremely helpful and polite.. Who I think is the manager. Good 🤞 Luck

Great people easy to deal with very helpful

Outstanding little chemist been part of the family for a long time looked after us all for many years

Tanna pharmacy is now under new management under a new name Akasi pharmacy since Mr Tanna retired. Mr Tanna had been managing this business and serving the community very effectively. Very good customer service. Patients and other customers will definitely miss the service of Mr Tanna.

Rather concerned that some staff are giving out misinformation. Requested a delivery of pain medication on the 24/01/23. Was told by staff that delivery would be made Monday 30/01/23. Phoned on Monday to evaluate delivery, was then informed delivery would be at 13.00 on Tuesday 31/01/23. At 14.00 inquired again, but this time informed deliveries only made on Tuesday and Thursday. So missed a day of pain relief after colon cancer removal nine days ago. Not a pleasant time.
