In my experience the staff have been friendly but they need a better system. When my doctor sends them an electronic prescription even if I wait five days, it is rarely dealt with unless I physically go in and ask if it’s ready. Even then, they always say come back in 30 minutes to an hour despite the fact that it has been days since they received it. And sometimes even when I return it’s still not ready as the pharmacist hasn’t signed something and is now unavailable, meaning that I then have to return a third time to collect. It shouldn’t take me going in to prompt them to deal with my prescription. I would understand a wait if things need to be ordered in but this isn’t the case, they are simply waiting for me to come in and ask for it and then at this point maybe tell me something needs ordering when that should have already been done! I may as well use paper prescriptions as e-prescriptions don’t seem to have many benefits at this pharmacy. I have asked to be text when my prescriptions are ready. This barely happens but I imagine this is because they don't process anything unless you go in. If I go in several days after my doctor sends the prescription to them I would expect everything to have been signed off and bagged when I arrive to collect like other pharmacies. I guess their busy and maybe can’t handle the amount of customers they have. The pharmacy is in a convenient location but collecting is a real hassle with their current processes so will consider using another pharmacy. Having less customers would help them out anyway.

This is possibly the worst pharmacy ever. I understand you're busy but when you tell someone 10 minutes then half an hour later they're still waiting and when they ask it turns out the pharmacist is busy....

Not once, not twice. It's every time i vist this pharmacy I must wait and wait for the simplest prescription.

I live on the same road (2 minutes walk) but it's quicker for me to drive to the nearest pharmacy next town and pick-up a prescription than walking to this one and waiting to pick-up a prescription.

Awful pharmacy. Extremely disorganised and clearly DO NOT care about their customers. They NEVER have your prescription ready and will then make you wait an hour for the rude staff to process it.

Never been treated that like this in any chemists, staff are very rude!!
I just went to get my medication after working since 3 . 30 Am, they told me to coming back because they were on lunch, I just said why there were not note outside to say this but I tried to understand, till the lady behind the counter said to me did you have your lunch? She means so them as a staff! My point was I understood they need lunch but at list advice customers with times!I replied yes but I wasn’t happy with this, the week after after returned for a second medication they were try to ignore me,
I did receive the medication 3 day before so I could let them have time to make it ready, it wasn’t so she said 10 minutes, I felt the coldness around me.
I waited nearly half hr , all the people were been served, so I approached the counter to ask if it was ready , it was there ready but they chosen to make me wait!
They should be ashamed to treat people like this, I’m a 62 year woman with a sever kidney infection and I taking this antibiotics for long time, they haven’t got a clue that people have to work and they don’t know people situation, only needed an update to say something not ignore me!
You work in a chemist not a clothes shop and people go there because they are sick not for pleasure!
I will never put my foot in this chemist ever!!

avoid this pharmacy and go to the one in watercolour instead. was told they didn’t have my prescription in stock and that they would have it 3 days later, came back the next day to get my paper prescription and take it else where and had what i needed in a drawer after 40 minutes of waiting. unprofessional and rude staff, disorganised, can’t even run their own pharmacy

Awful service, don't answer the phones. Requested prescription twice, wait for 40 minutes and told they don't have it. Unhelpful staff

Too many people in the area don't look after their health and as a result the staff have a tough job keeping up with the large number of prescriptions. As a result the genuine people sometimes get inconvenienced.
