Rose Hill Post Office

Took a letter in yesterday which had to arrive by today so sent 1st class recorded delivery. The postman delivered it back to me today because they put the labels on the return address 😡 instead of the postal address. He then refused to re-send unless I paid another £2.70. The customer service is appalling and I will never use this post office again. This isn’t the only issue I have had with this business I would not recommend them they don’t know what they are doing

Really loathe to give a one star, because there are a couple of nice guys work there. But there's one guy there that's really rude and tries to overcharge. Tonight, I went to post a bra and was told it was £3.50 for a parcel. I said I don't think so.... Turns out its just a stamp required on it. Then starts telling me how I can't claim if it gets lost or damaged because I've just got a cert of postage. I said since when.. Then he tells me they are now shutting at 7 instead of 11 and also that my post won't go till tue, despite it being Friday. Couple of times in the past they've stuck labels on the wrong side and I've had my mail delivered back to me! I keep an eye on where they are putting the stamps now tho. Wouldn't use them if I didn't have to. Husband will literally drive all the way to town, just to avoid it. Sad really, our old post office here was superb

They refused to take my ParcelForce parcel for drop off as 'it was too big' and they 'only take small and medium parcels' even though they have taken them before.

The really rude bloke behind the counter refused to give his name saying it wasn't important, said the owner wasn't there and when I advised I'd be complaining said - you can do!

Needless to say, I won't be coming here again! Should be stripped of the franchise.
