Lindfield Post Office

Love having this Post Office in Lindfield. The staff are perfectly pleasant and efficient. I hope they ignore the risible griping of the self-entitled whingers in those mean and petty 1-star reviews on this site (written by Boomers and their ilk who would rather drive off in their gas-guzzlers to seek more suitably deferential service elsewhere). Some of us believe in community; so thank you, Lindfield Post Office - you stayed open through lockdown and are a great community service.

So I took my items to post here as it states it's a drop off location, I arrived they weighed my parcels and the price was nearly double more than if I printed them off myself so I said I would go print the label and come back. To witch I was told to not bring the parcels back here if I don't purchase his label why would he take something he gets no money for! I don't understand why this is a drop off location when you are greeted like this. the man was very rude in front of customers and his service was incredibly poor! I would not recommended this shop to anyone. They have no customer service no respect and don't deserve the support of the local village!

I am repeatedly incredulous at the rude and dreadfully miserable woman behind the counter. How ironic there is a sign saying ‘rudeness and abuse will not be tolerated’ unfortunately this only works one way! This woman should look for another job. Really brings down the feel of the village in my opinion.

Always rude. Never apologetic. Never helpful. I don't know why the people running the Post Office in Lindfield have to be so miserable. I always hate having to go there.

Would agree with other reviews here. I’ve had really unfriendly unhelpful service every single time and now will drive further afield rather than have my day ruined. And not just one member of staff, most of them. They practically sneer at you when you go in and behave in a dismissive, standoffish manner. Plus working very slowly regardless how long the queue.

I fear going here… that’s how bad the customer service is. I have actively taken the decision to risk the 50/50 chance with Hermes than take my parcels into this place. The lady is particularly unfriendly but no matter who serves you I still feel I have lost a little of my soul upon leaving… like I’ve had a run in with the dementors from Harry Potter.

I guess we should be grateful to have the amenity in the village but if I don’t have the option of using Hermes at the co-op then I actively make the effort to walk into HH so not having the post office would just make me feel less pathetic that I have allowed another individual(s) make me take such ridiculous measures to avoid them!
