Woking Delivery Office

Every time my postman goes on holiday and we get a temporary postman my parcels start vanishing 3 parcels have been so called lost in the post within 1 week and because they were only 1st class theres nothing I can do about it. This makes me so angry what has happened to our traditional honest Royal Mail now.

Not even a local phone number for the Woking sorting office all premium rate numbers such a rip off to the people who have used this service for so many years I see now why people are turning to other couriers!!

Shameful to the dishonest postman who helped himself to my items. we all know there's no way of proving it but to many coincidences for me.

Just left the Woking office picking up an Amazon parcel. I gave her my phone with the pick up reference and my driving licence. She asked me if I received the email today o relied no. She then said did I ask for local collect. I replied I selected Woking office as the pick up point. She went to get the parcel and quite rudely and aggressively said next time you need to say local collect when you get to the desk.

Why? All the details were on the email. Why feel the need to talk to people aggressively. No goodbye just a glare. When all I had said was hello, no and selected collection.

Not acceptable

Rude and unhelpful.

Ordered an item online which hadn’t arrived - seller advised to check at sorting office as they stated it’s not uncommon for Royal Mail to not leave an attempted delivery card. Arrived at sorting office to be presented by an obstructive jobsworth, who was only interested in telling me there’s nothing she can do without a card. I managed to convince her to at least check the post code to see if it had arrived, to which she responded with a blunt “No.” - not ‘I’m afraid there’s no record of it on the system, what date was it sent to see if I can help you?’ or anything of the like. A concerning void of personal (let alone customer) skills, especially for someone in a customer facing role. I’m a polite person but even I couldn’t muster up a ‘thank you’ upon departure for this train wreck of an experience. Oh - and let’s not forget the fact Royal Mail appear to have lost the item in question, too! What a disaster.

Doesn’t even warrant a star. Honestly the worst, worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Biggest jobsworth the world has ever seen behind the screen, who’s remit seems to be making ‘customers’ lives difficult and not being helpful at all. ‘No one is here to talk to you’ I was told when I asked to speak to a manager. Absolute disgrace.

I pick up lots of parcels from here and receive very helpful service. The man working there goes beyond expectations providing information. Very happy. Thank you

Extremely poor service. Our 24 tracked parcels do NOT leave this delivery office on time and are very frequently delayed.

The man at the counter barely speaks or understands English...

Shame for a company trading on the stock exchange.

Quick service BUT the opening hours are currently completely useless. Seriously... Open for 2 hours in the morning, when people are working. Shut on Wednesdays which is my day off. Thursday is the only day when you can say that this place is actually open. Oh and it is open on Saturdays for 6 hours but I work on Saturday mornings so not helpful. Overall looks like they are trying to have people congregating in the queue on Saturdays for some reason. I thought that currently the goal is not to have people queueing excessively.
