Headington Post Office

I have the utmost admiration for the staff at this Post Office. They get a huge number of customers, and some of them have diverse needs, they may not understand the system, they may not have a good grasp of English, or they may be elderly, all are treated with kindness, politeness and patience. They have helped me numerous times, and are always friendly.
I can't understand these reviews they are worlds away from my experience over the last 10 years!

The employees of this branch are not professional at all, they do not print the royal mail QR codes that all branches print for you and tell you to go to another branch. Try not to go to this branch at all, it will only get on your nerves.

This place does not seem to be open as often as maybe it should. however I do feel for the staff as they are under a lot of pressure to help a lot of different types of people. There are always long queues and I think that makes people irritable.

Really rude staff. I had to come 3 times to pick up a parcel due to the long queues. When it got my turn the man at the counter told me he didn’t have time to look for my parcel although he has been clearly been hired to do this job. He was very lazy and terribly rude. This company does either need to train better their staff or hire people who are a better fit for the job. I would rather drive somewhere else than coming again to this shop. I used to buy my groceries at the co-op but I will go to Waitrose instead. I will not support a business model that treats customers like rubbish.

The Indian looking gentleman Royal Mail staff was very rude. He biased serving customers, when it was my turn i felt like racial discrimination. He did have a eye contact and quite rude in both verbal and body language.

They are just the worst. Don't even want to check of a package is there of it has been diverted and therefore you don't have any card to show. Also of you work there is no way you can go during the week. Google timers were all wrong

Excellent, helpful staff. Great part of the local community and supporters of St Andrew’s Primary School next door.
Please Note:
PO hours for full service are different to the Co-Op supermarket who only offer limited service outside of PO hours that are: Mon-Fri 9-5.30 & 9-3.30 on Sat.

After reading the reviews I was not keen on visiting however DPD required that I collect a parcel. Thank you to the lovely lady who found my parcel even though it was in the wrong pile. Great experience nothing like some of the reviews indicate. Given they all the comments use similar language perhaps it is just one of those social media type campaign type things people/androids seem to like to do. Anyway I recommend the Co-op Headington postoffice.
