Park View Surgery

Pretty much have to agree that I've been nothing but disappointed with this surgery. Went down twice at the end of last year. Both times neither the receptionists nor doctors wanted to stay on the phone for more than 30 seconds. Hardly giving me time to explain why I'm ringing.

Waited over 2 hours to get seen (why have appointments if they can be 2 hours late). Got blamed myself, for them letting someone else get seen to under my name. Had to complain twice to staff to get him kicked out and be seen to.

Once finally seen too, both times were told it's nothing and "just stress" but I'm now 9 months later with the same increasing symptoms so it's time to go elsewhere. I haven't the time to waste with this Surgery sitting for hours to be told it's in my head, and the whole time with fairly poor attitude.

Really disappointing.

Sadly this practice seems to now be designed around the doctors rather than patients. It is SO stressful to make an appointment. A phone lottery starting at 8.30am always requires at least 20 calls, often only to find all appointments gone. Why put you through this and then a queue to be told all appointments are gone. There are also a number of annoying prerecorded messages before being told to phone back later. This just wastes people's money if they are PAYG. I wish the drs themselves would try the system and then they'd understand why people (often people worried or in pain) get angry and upset.

I thought this place was great today.
Really nice on the phone and really nice when I was there.
The receptionist was lovely and the doctor was lovely. I can’t remember her name but she was brilliant.
Glad to say I’m actually feeling a bit better too.

Three days in a raw called them every day 8am-9am finally got in touch with some one very unhelpful explained my situation and final word from receptionist “the doctor we’ll call you”waited for the call no one has call yet and telling me to call again the next day. I don’t want to speak with the doctor on the phone I want appointment and the said we can’t give appointments worse service I have ever received!!!

Can never get through to anyone there and their telephone queuing system is a joke and only has 10 spaces, only at this surgery can you be trying to call for almost an hour to then be told sorry we’re not taking anymore calls! I will be leaving this amateur surgery as soon as I can. I wouldn’t mind but I rarely get Ill and probably in 10 years I’ve been a hand full of times. This place has changed since I was a kid and not for the best, employ more receptionist and doctors or even better get a telephone system that can handle 100 people instead of 10, you’ll stop people phone bombing you in the morning.

We have been very satisfied patients at Park View for over 40 years and could not imagine transferring to another surgery. Doctors nurses and reception have been there for us whenever we have needed them, and for that we offer our grateful thanks. Park View Surgery, Leicester Road, Loughborough, LE11

People that are working there are incompetent.
I can't even book an appointment , with the doctor . When You need help or advice how to sort your problem , they're making up some story just to get rid of you !!

I'm returning to the practice after 8 years away Richard the practice manager has been amazingly helpful in time for my return in January 2023 I have brain disorder arthritis diabetic and this gentleman has been a superstar best wishes Alan yates
