The Crown Medical Practice

Impossible to get an appointment - constantly re dialling to try and get through, managed to finally get through after a week of trying only to be told within 20minutes of surgery being open all appointments were gone and I would have to ring back the following day.
Hubby rang up 163 times!!! Told the same thing- since Doctor Standen has retired & Dr Benkert semi retired this practice has dived down hill.

This practice has really gone downhill in the last 12 months, no duty of care to patients. Been trying to get an appointment for the past week, told to phone up on the day. Waiting over an hour to even have the phone answered to then be told there are no appointments. Which leaves me sometimes no other options than to go to A&E which wastes their time. I have been a patient for over 25 years at this practice, and safe to say I will be looking for a practise that is more professional and reliable.

Appalling patient care. Told to call GP so waited all day for call back and not added to call list. Numerous times have to wait 3 weeks for prescription as lost, not received and continuous lies! Wish I could move but no where to go in Tamworth as area based.

Recently saw Kathy Parker the Menopause Nurse .
What a wonderful service she has given me . A very warm welcome and listened to what I talked about .
She was very professional and listened with empathy . Made sure I was understood and gave great advice.
I can’t Thank You enough Kathy , it’s so lovely to talk to someone that knew what I was on about and what my body is going through !
Didn’t feel rushed and she took the time to make sure I was fully aware of my problems.

2nd visit today for an update on my health & medication .

Yet again a very warm welcome, and genuinely happy to see me and to hear my progress .

What a wonderful nurse !

Gone down the toilet since took on other surgery.. Never ever had a problem with this practice now its a joke to get an appointment.

Grumpy reception staff who didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to help. We caught the reception just as it was about to close for lunch… why are we paying our NHS to close for lunch!!

Rang 58 times yesterday with no luck.....rang many times again today no luck.....I might be too dead to ring on Monday.....gone right downhill

Since the beginning of this year I have been quite poorly and Kathy Parker has been marvelous both with telephone consultations and in person. She is lovely and really listens. I think she is a valuable addition to the surgery
