In my experience of being homeless, this area is only good if you inject drugs. You can come here and they will give you all the prescriptions you need to sell to earn your drug money. If you need a place to take your drugs and give your nice habit a better structure. Staff used

James mate I can see where your coming from that comes with the territory in a place like this. They can’t screen everyone with polygraphs and that some people will sell there script. I have a subutex script here I’ve never sold it and this place has been supporting me for ten years. It’s the only doctor in Oxford you can drop in every day I get my asthma inhalers and meds with no problems and the doctors have helped me with many things. In my experience they are sensible and practical in supporting me with my issues unlike my doctor before who’s head was in the clouds always going on about my smoking when I had a raging drink and drug habits. I know years ago selling subby was rife in the shelter no apperently they are hard to get so they must be something right.

I'm so thankful for your help and support over the years with my addiction, and anything in general. The doctors and staff are amazing they really do care about your well being and I really got a sense of that especially from Dr james porter couldn't ask for a better doctor. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with addiction.

Worst EVER doctors I ever had the misfortune of knowing. Despite being on seriously strong medicine - CONSULTANT PRESCRIBED - and having had been so for the past 15 years, the doctor looked at me with joy in his eyes and said and I quote "we are not prescribing ANY! WAIT UNTIL YOUR REALLY SICK IN WITHDRAWALS then we'll take another look at it! AVOID THIS PLACE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH AND SANITY!

Unfortunately, this once great, happy little surgery has been reduced to practically nothing due to the supposed pandemic. No more drop ins, no one to one's, just telephone appointments only. When you eventually get a telephone appointment, you are bombarded with a series of questions about covid-19 symptoms! and if you're lucky, you finally get round to the issues that you originally want to see the doctor for! Then you are told that if symtoms are serious enough you should go to the already ovetstrethced hospital an wait hours on end to be seen by someone! If not, then wait for sympoms to be serious enough to goto hospital! GP's are a thing of the past, wasting taxpayers money!
