Is it any wonder that hospitals are at breaking point when you can't get a much needed face to face appt for 4 weeks and a phone appt for 3 weeks. The receptionists just tell you "if it Really is that bad there's 8 till 8 in Corby ( no good for those that don't drive) or just go to A&E" ! I'm not so bad that I need A&E but if I didn't NEED to see a GP I wouldn't be asking to do so!! Thank God for the pharmacist doing the GP's job for them!!!

I can only speak for a few weeks of experience as have just moved to the area. As someone with complex health needs, I have a lot of contact with GPs and hospitals. So far, Eskdail have been exceptional in making sure my needs are met, my prescription transfer was smooth and quick, Dr Semhi is empathic and patient and the receptionists I have spoken to have gone out of their way to help. Coming from a medical centre in Bedfordshire where I was ignored and neglected to the point where I need surgery which was entirely preventable, this is a huge breathe of fresh air and I feel like I am finally in good hands.

My son has just been seen by a disgrace of a Dr who I won't name on here. My son had to return for a third time as the problem has not improved. The Dr then said there was nothing wrong with him. my son insisted he looked with a torch (my son's phone as Dr wouldn't use his own). The Dr then said and I quote " oh it is there but it will go on its own and u can go away now. You have been seen enough" Wow how rude what a response said in a bad attitude way. A complaint has been made but I don't expect it to be acted on as they are so short of Drs. Just becouse my son it a young adolescent doesn't mean he should be spoke to and not treated. He left without further treatment and we will be taking this to a higher level.

Staff do try so hard to make sure your needs are met, I would always recommend this surgery, over the years I have been impressed with the service. Lovely doctors and reception staff.

A truly excellent medical facility. I’m a 55 year old patient of this surgery for 6/7 years. It’s by far the best that I have been registered with, and I’ve been registered all over the Country during my lifetime.

Spoke to a lovely receptionist called Lorna, normally feel I’m speaking to a robot. Our call got cut off and regardless I was trying to call back she was trying to return my call and make full effort to sort out my health concerns. Cannot praise her enough what a credit to the company I hope she answers all my calls. I’ve had a horrible last couple of weeks and she’s elevated my mood by her compassion and care to ensure my health problems are dealt with to my comfort. What an amazing lady she should have such recognition the whole call was so authentic and she has no idea the positive impact she’s given me through the worst time of my life I’m currently going through. Lied by lady who claimed to be practice manager who lied as the real manager is male and work the role for years. A nurse "G" feels she runs the place called me at 8am to tell me to call in tomorrow at 8am to make a appointment for her to call me back? What planet did she arrive from. Can't fault the GPs they are all good but that nurse let's the surgery down and bullying paitents on the phone. Discussion on kettering area chat discloses the extent she talks inappropriate on the phone to patients. I won't name her full name but last name starts with "G".... should definitely be banned from touching the phones in the surgery.
