Absolutely terrible letting agency. There are rats or large vermin in the attic which don't seem to be going and actually seem to have came through multiple other house holds of the terrace to enter our property. We've never taken food up there so there's nothing of ours that can attract these things. Any way the blonde woman with dog in the agency has got a serious attitude problem and I'm surprised that we are still happy to pay and place monthly rent towards them. Multiple times they've made my partner feel unwelcome or as if she's in the wrong and she shouldn't have to feel like this to keep a roof over her head.
Since ive been here, we've witnessed a bath / shower problem that was terrible and it took them far too long to pop out and repair. The windows are too small for any fire risk in this property, and the whole property is a tight confined small but still expensive property that doesn't quite meet our needs

I rented a house from them and it was an absolute shambles from start to finish, first of they pushed my move in date back because they needed to clean the property, when I moved in the house it was filthy, I'm talking mold, cobwebs, grime on walls, it goes on, but due to my situation at the time I was stuck and this was the only option.
Here's a list of things they promised to fix when I moved in: 2 windows unable to open, faulty front door, loose slabs on front wall, hole in kitchen ceiling from rewiring they carried out, they took 2 bedroom doors off to replace carpet, put 1 back on after a month the other was still off 4 months later, boiler broke down on new years day, they expected me to go without heating for 5 days only reluctantly providing heaters when I mentioned my 2 young children, the list goes on.
I had to constantly chase them to find out what was going on, not once did I get an apology from them, when I couldn't get an answer through emails, I went into the office, the staff would talk down to me as if these issues were my fault, not an ounce of care, no customer service what so ever, one women in particular had attitude everytime she opened her mouth.
Although I was renting I am also saving to buy, they have not only lost a tenant but also a future sale.
AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THEM

When I rented a property off them back in 2014/2015 they were awful to deal with, when I mentioned faults with the property they simply undermined me and basically told me off for wasting their time. They also rented the property with a smallish garage/Large shed on the paperwork. Upon using this to store my motorbike the neighbour next door became aggressive and explained in a horrible manner that it belonged to him since 1999 and that I wasn't to use it. I explained that A1 letting said it belonged to the property that I was renting but in all fairness he showed paperwork signing over ownership to him.

I contacted A1 letting explaining that I was mis-sold the property and wouldn't have taken it knowing the garage/shed didn't belong to it and they simply said it's tough you signed a 6 month contract. Well in the end I walked away from the property just 2 months in due to the string of ignorance from them and also abusive neighbour next door. They kept the bond simply using the excuse I left before the contract ended. Bunch of crocks from start to finish.

The staff at A1 lettings are amazing. Even from the start, at the viewing giving advice as I am a first time buyer. I have had problems with solicitors with the house and the team here have been really helpful. Responded back to me with answers to any questions I had for the solicitors within the hour. Nothing was to much trouble for them and always happy to help. More then happy with the service and definitely 5 star business. Thank you to the team again.

Terrible service. Had to fill out a number of forms, references and background checks before viewing property, strung along for weeks to then be told they never had any intention of renting to us for reasons that are completely untrue. Hindsight is 20/20 and I will not be looking for a property with this agency ever again.

Not very friendly. There is a blonde who has a little dog who gives off a negative vibe and seems like a stuck up b####
After meeting her I would avoid this place unless you want to be made to feel like you are beneath them.

Will string you along , making you jump through hoops no other landlord will even contemplate, to then tell you they can't rent to you for reasons that simply aren't true. Avoid like COVID-19.
