Brunello is a restaurant with a comfortable yet formal design that just feels luxurious from the moment you walk through the front door. I wanted to have lunch in the Kensington area near Hyde Park, so Brunello at Baglioni Hotel seemed like the perfect place for me.

The service was excellent from the beginning, the waiter kept the plates and wine flowing at a steady rate, describing the origins of the wine and reason for pairing with every dish. The Salmone Norvegese and Tuna as part of the chef tartar’s selection were so fresh and an exciting combination of flavours with celery and fennel vinaigrette in sweet mustard. Then came the black truffle risotto with 24 month-aged parmesan cheese, which was a terrific way to showcase the ingredients and I definitely loved this dish.

Red meat was next on the menu and tagliata of beef fillet was a style of beef I have never tried before but want again and again now. Cooked to perfection at medium rare with a broccoli gratin and mushroom, this really shows the chef's skills and is worth a trip to Brunelllo just for this.

The final course was the chef’s cheese selection of Parmesan, Pecorino, Camembert, Caprino, Gorgonzola served with crispy pistachio, fruit marmalade and honey. The rich flavours and textures of the cheese with the sweet notes of the Hungarian Tokaj was the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend Brunello and can’t wait to return!

Brunello is a wonderful restaurant, the food was exceptional, the service was amazing, the staff were always there, very helpful, the cocktails we're really good, the bruschetta which they served was so tasty, you could have easily eaten a whole lot of them, the fresh bread and olive oil they serve is really good, minestrone soup was ok, tiny bit bland for my liking, the seared tuna was cooked perfection, the lamb main which had a little truffle on the inside of the potato was quiet good, lamb was cooked to a medium perfectly, the veal Milanese was really nice also. menu has a good amount to choose from, lots of starters to choose from, different types of pasta to choose from, a choice of main courses also, was too full for dessert but the dessert menu looked really tasty, would recommend going here, little pricey, but worth it

We had a lovey experience at Brunello! The service was impeccable! Emilio, the manager and all the rest of staff have been fantastic! The afternoon tea with an Italian twist is a must try! You will enjoy the high quality of the food and especially the glass of Ferrari! We’ll definitely come back for more!

Only 2 choices for pasta/risotto, 2 main choices and food was so basic.
You will expect for a restaurant like that to offer the menù they have on their website not a minimalist version.
Disappointing restaurant!

Pretty mediocre pasta. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce lacked flavor. The combination of raw shrimp with cheese was quite questionable too. The service was professional.

This dessert summarises the entire overwhelming £150 Christmas dinner dining experience…

Quiet refuge from the madding crowd outside. Public spaces could do with a light refresh, but good service and cocktails.
