Visited here in July 2022.
Had a pint of Guinness and some food.
Didn't have to wait long for our food.
Friendly staff.
Can recommend and would visit again.

Food is absolutely superb. The pies are amazing. Specially during weekend the atmosphere is really good with the small pub completely full with the friendly local community.

I had a great weekend embarking upon one of the walks, their highly knowledgeable guides led us on. The weather was shocking, making the walk all the more memorable in an odd way. This was surpassed only by the warm welcome back at the bar, the warmth of the log burner and the hugely appreciated tumble dryer for our wet clothes! My evening meal (local meat from the local butcher) was superb. The Cross Foxes is the perfect location for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors in North Wales.

A perfect place to stay. The atmosphere and nature are incredibly beautiful. The owner is one of the nicest people I know and very helpful. You can stay here without a second thought. I am sure you will be satisfied.

Possibly the worst food I have not eaten, as couldn’t. Was like sitting in the most derelict and scantily clad front room of your most hated house on the planet. Just awful. Hungry Horse or Wetherspoons is 1000% better. The children actually felt uneasy as the look at people they do not recognize like the ‘Aliens have landed’.

Really friendly and welcoming. The landlord even invited us back for bingo on Sunday evening.
Sunday lunch was great. Thankyou

me and the missus were staying at an air bnb down the road for the weekend. ate here three times, couldn't recommend more. staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, the burger was juicy and tasty, full English (Welsh?) breakfast was fantastic - toast and fried bread as well as a bacon slice thick enough to stand up, and the Pizzas for a tenner were brill. they even did meals for us to go, and are pet friendly. 5* couldn't recommend more!
