Very disappointed. Went here to purchase some hunter boots to find the member of staff assisting me didn't know nothing about them, how they adjusted or if they were supposed to be as baggy as they were on my ankles.
The advice i was looking for which i have now found out is that i found need a refined boot due to having smaller ankles.
For a store that sells high end footwear i would expect staff to have minimal knowledge at least.
Due to the lack of knowledge from the assistant she allowed a customer (myself) walk out on a £150 sale.

I do like schuh, it's always perfectly immaculate and bright and sparkly. I do wish there were slightly fewer staff offering help, I know that sounds strange as most people like to feel that there are enough staff to go round. But for me, I'd like to browse in peace and not have "is there anything I can help you with" asked to me every few minutes by up to six or seven staff members. I get it, they want plenty of staff, but I'd like to look at the shoes without feeling I'm obliged to buy anything. Good effort, albeit trying a bit too hard for my liking. You can't win them all tho.

Friendly attentive staff. Good selection and they can order you in a different size if they haven't got yours in a particular shoe. The range that they have is a bit expensive for me so I can't shop there as often as I'd like to.

I have had a pair of vans for 4 months and both shoes have a hole in at the front. Tried to refund or exchange them at the Portsmouth store and they tried to convince me my toe nails are so sharp they cut through the shoes after 4 months and I have not worn them much they still look pretty new. I was refused a refund, credit note or exchange. Will not be using them again with such terrible customer service.

I went in looking for some croc charms and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful got some really good advice from them and they are really kind and friendly :)

Sad to have heard that two of the female staff were sat around today and rather than helping customers were pointing out things they “didn’t like” or had issue with, these girls are in the wrong job if they come to work to put people down, especially paying customers such as ourselves.
Management should have stern words and a review of the bullying policy read to them.

Having elephant sized feet it's hard to find shoes that fit. The lovely assistant eleanor was very helpful, knowledgeable and a credit to your store.
