Worst experience and a complete waste of our money and time!!

We ordered our sofas In June and didn't get them till late September. When they arrived the one-seater was faulty and did not recline and the 3-seater had marks on it. Bear in mind that these are cream leather sofas. After reporting the issue, someone from dfs came to look at the fault and marks, he said he removed the marks but when i got back home from work the stains where still very visible! I didn't pay over £3k for faulty and marked sofas!

We were told on 13.10.22 that the spare part for the one-seater will take 15 weeks to arrive. This is absolutely ridiculous.

It took a month past the delivery date to receive our sofas and if it wasn't for us chasing up the matter, we wouldn't have received them at all.

NO ONE FROM THE STORE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT DESPITE OUR COMPLAINT... We have sent several emails to the complaints department and no one has done anything! AVOID DFS!! I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE DIRECTLY TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!

Store itself is perfectly fine and staff are welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the communication from the company themselves is atrocious! Failed delivery's and collections due to no communication or cancellation on DFS part with also no communication.

Dreadfully let down here.
We waited 16 weeks for our sofa, 2 imaginary deliveries, false promises, then it was totally wrong when finally delivered.
You just couldn't make it up 🤬
Requested a full refund but unsurprisingly, we have to wait a week for our money back!
Poor show DFS, we won't be buying from you again.
DFS = Dire Fecking Service.

Service was good. We were just browsing at first until we found what we wanted. Kapla helped us greatly and was very friendly and patient especially because we had little kids with us. Would recommend for good quality sofas and good service.

We have just downsized to a small flat.
We decided to go to DFS to see if we could find something of a suitable size.
We were greeted by a lovely lady called Bea who very professionally showed us everything that was suitable, she spent a lot of time with us to show us what we were looking for and answer all of the questions. It was a very pleasurable shopping experience. They have an excellent and varied selection to choose from. Sofa delivered on time but on delivery it was discovered that parts needed to be replaced, still waiting? So only 3 stars as it should have been checked prior to delivering

Great experience. Lot of choices from modern to contemporary style furniture. Friendly staff that will help answer any questions and make the selection and ordering process easier.

Absolutely awful experience! Brand new sofa delivered February 2021! Within 6 months sofa split down the seems. Was told in September 2021 DFS have ordered a new seat and will be delivered within 4/6 weeks. After requesting a manager call 10 times and 35 emails. DFS have not returned, they know the sofa is split and have not returned calls or emails. Have now reported to trading standards and will now be taking legal action. Awful experience please anyone using this company please be careful.

Avoid this store at all costs. Attempted to cancel order of sofa for my deceased mother. Took two months to call back and the store manager Hamza decided he needed proof she had died to cancel the order even though they were keeping her deposit. One star is too much for these un-empathetic cretins. At least take your business to another store. My blood is boiling.
