Using a student choice card... being told I have to use it online ! Phoned up student choice customer support telling me YOU CAN use in stop and the staff misinforming customers.

Went to this branch for first time to collect a pair of trainers and manager was so friendly that I felt she could not be more helpful. Her approach was so rude, not welcoming and sincerely it felt she was making a favour of being there. Not going back to this shop not even to collect any possible future online shopping.
On a note side, everyone has their things, however when you do customer service “welcome” them, they are spending their money at your shop.
there are management courses available even online, be sure people have management skills before they are in a position of managing anything.

On Saturday 5th of November 2022 around 4:30pm, my son (12) and I arrived at JD Sports (Hackney central). I wanted to return a hoodie purchased on 16/12/22 at Westfeild. Upon arriving to the till the store manager (Pardip) said she cannot offer any exchange as ot has gone past 14 days.

I made reference to the receipt which says refunds cannot be done after 14 days but exchanges or gift cards can be given within 28 days of purchase. She went back to read the recipt again—I cannot believe the manger does not know their refund policy—and started to falsely accuse my son of having worn the hoodie. She said it continuously, yelling at the top of her lungs. The hoodie was unused and still had the tags on. She didn't ask why we were returning the hoodie (it was too small) and just started throwing baseless accusations at my son, who at this point was trembling.

She then asked why I didn't return the hoodie within 14 days, which was the policy for returns not exchanges and vouchers. She gave me a condition to either return to westfield or make another purchase to cover the cost of the hoodie.

She was yelling again after that and told she me to leave the queue as she had other customers to attend to. This is a very unprofessional way to treat your customers. Being shouted at and wrongfully accusing customers is not a way a proper business should be run.

I came to return a hat which I bought 2 days ago and they didn't accept it saying the tag was off eventhough I still had the receipt ,it was not used but they accused me of using it. A few minutes later another customer came who also didn't have a tag but had a receipt and they accepted their return . Normally the return or exchange policy is 28 days and mine was just 2 days and they didn't accept it .The staff are very rude to the customers and not helpful.

This isn't a bad JD store has it goes. Mostly find a bargain hiding amongst the rails. Staff seem human enough supportive & unlike robots needing to be recharged. A wide range of trackies, hoodie & sneaks. I always drop in whilst in the Manor and at most walk out with draw string JD bag ,goodies in tact with out breaking the bank. Yeah I highly recommended this store if you like your sports wear and in need of a bargain or even two.
