I went yesterday, 20/03/2022, few minutes after 11am.
I called one of the staff, a lad around 20th was unfortunately available, and I asked him which shoes were the best for running.
After he opened his arms and indicated the shelf, that I was already looking, he said: "everything is in front of you" and he left.
Incompetent, inappropriate and rude.
The staff on Sports Direct, in the same road, are more professional.

Very unorganised staff doing jobs they should have done before store opening. To busy to help customer, staff do not look friendly and waiting time for trainers when only one customer should not take over 10 minutes I ended up leaving.. Store needs new management and staff!

Not one of the biggest shops, but most of the staff are helpful and perlite. The others are just trying to look busy. And if you've worked in retail , we all have been there done that. But over all not a bad shop.

I visited the store on a Saturday with only one staff on floor for shoes (during a sale promotion season too!) More staff are needed around on the weekend due to being busy, with a much more organised system to ensure staff and customers are both happy and relaxed. >.<
Staff were friendly however and did work very hard at trying to manage a busy Saturday!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went into store and saw pair of adidas I liked. Asked the sales person if they had the other trainer to the one that was displayed which was a size 8. Nobody came back to me after about 10 minutes, which wasn’t a problem because I decided to get some clothes while I was waiting. Asked the sales person again if the trainers had been ordered and was asked to hold on. A young lady came back and said that they couldn’t find the other the other shoe to the one I had because the stock room was being moved around. There was another shoe on display which was an 8 also so I said, you can find both size 8s. She replied yes so I asked to see the manager. See stormed off and another young lady came back and told me the same story. I accepted what was said because there was nothing else I could do but pretty poor work standards if you are moving stock around then unable to find shoes you are supposed to be selling. Got the trainers in the Peckham store where the service was slightly better.

Poor experience:
- staff didn’t wanted to get the shoes after we spent 30mn for our kids selecting shoes, stating nobody was working on top floor (store was still open)
- staff didn’t have kids scale to know shoe size.
- staff seems like they didn’t wanted to do their job. Asking for size availabilities, staff looked bored and unhelpful…

I will avoid this shop moving forward, they’re clearly not interested in selling shoes… jd sport really need to train their staff.

Same as another comment, they didn't have the other shoe for an exposed shoe. Ended up buying another pair but had to change it when I realised one shoe had a problem/was different than the other in texture. Queuing for refund with only 2 people in front but it took 10 minutes wait cause they are so slow. Their desk is very messy, clothes waiting to be put back in the store. The whole shop just looks disorganised, things on the floor, broken stickers on the desk, such a mess. What are they doing? No wonder people buy online these days.
