Runners Need Orpington

After 3 walkouts at competitors in the City, I was reticent to try Runners Need, but I could not have been happier with Holly (Orpington store). As a 56-yr-old newbie 5K runner, I was feeling self-conscious, but Holly listened to my needs and goals, answered my questions with excellent product knowledge, and was extremely welcoming and friendly. Very happy with my new shoes based on my gait analysis and will definitely return! Well done!

Went in for a gait analysis and ended up having a chat and in-depth discussion with Miles for over an hour. He is unbelievably knowledgable and really helped me look into things that I should incorporate into my running which will help me improve and overcome injury. He also let me geek out and try on a variety of different running shoes, without pressuring me to buy anything at all. I'm sure he would have been equally as happy for me to just leave with some newly acquired knowledge without buying anything new; needless to say though, I couldn't resist some new shoes and running gear. Overall, brilliant shop, well equipped, one alarmingly knowledgable Miles, and very happy and friendly coworkers! If you're in the area, deal yourself in now.

The Orpington store is excellent. Informed, patient and helpful staff, especially the manager. The problem is with the design of the Mach 4.

Excellent service from the team at Runners Need. I booked in a gait analysis and the experience was very positive. Excellent service throughout from Dan. He helped address my concerns and requirements. Ended up purchasing a pair of Brooks. Despite not having my size in stock, he managed to source one pair from another branch and have it shipped to my home. Couldn't ask for a better service. Highly recommended. Excellent experience at this store. I had a gait analysis and Myles dedicated a lot of his time to really explain the analysis to me. I learned a lot from this and it gave me a much better understanding of what to look for in a running shoe. He was very knowledgeable and brought out several pairs of shoes for me to try and gave a thorough explanation of their differences. There was no pressure to buy and I was able to try out the shoes on a treadmil for as long as I needed. Ended up finding a very comfortable shoe and looking forward to go for a run in them. I will definitely come back to buy more kit from this store.

The staff in this store are brilliant! Really efficient and friendly. I had a GAIT Analysis done.At no point did I feel pressured to buy, I tried on loads of different trainers and the staff member spent ages explaining what to consider when buying running shoes etc. I ended up buying a pair of Brooks, and will go back for my next one! great job guys!

Excellent service. Lovely young lady who did my gait analysis was really helpful. Even when I returned my trainers after a couple of hours wearing because I needed the next size up there was no problem . Definitely recommend them .
