Also the store smelt and was a mess, by the cleaner was on holiday. Had damage shoes on sell?!?!?! So maybe they just don't care...
A memeber of staff I did ask for help just smiled and walked away. One young boy was trying to help but didn't know what he was doing!!
I am not sure how you can be this bad: customer service BAD, Products on shelf: BAD, store: BAD.
Overall it is impressive to be this bad. You can be proud of this fact. You are the worst of the worst.
FYI: I walked out and into JD Sport next-door. 2 people said hello on my way in. 1 person said they be over to help in a minute. They get 5 stars...
A guy called Richard refused to refund it after the staff member who I was dealing with believed I should get my refund as it was a bad stock. The manager Abdul was then informed who had nothing reasonable to say . Instead he told me he could get me a complaint form to Sports direct.
A staff member told me on the day that Richard had exchanged items for people in the past in my situation and they suspect foul play. The staff said Richard was being partial and they could not believe Abdul himself refused the refund.. They were sad and dumbfounded and they could not believe they work with people like Abdul and Richard!
Avoid this store like a plague!
Stay away from this scam company. Totally disappointed.
I had bought a pair of trainers for my kid and found a better deal for the same shoe online. So, I went to return the shoes. They said, sportdirect has a NO REFUND policy, you can exchange it for a sportdirect voucher which, obviously, you have to use in sportdirect only.
So, I took the voucher and used it to buy another Nike from sportdirect online. Now, second part of the scam, you have to pay £4.99 for delivery or store pickup, whatever you choose.
The shoe arrived and the size is correct, but tight on the width (side). Now, I the policy is, I have to pay postage for the return and again will get another online voucher. Then, I have to pay again £4.99 for the next delivery....
Sure, they managed to scam me this time and took my money. But, they don't understand that it is one-off. Neither me nor my family members or my close friends/relatives are going to shop with them ever again, as I have explained them their refund policy.
Also, in this particular store, customer service was awful.
