Lidl

A few folks suggested that I should try Lidl Croissants. They get sold out completely every morning. I tried the Chocolate Croissant and Pasteles d Nata. Both decent and good

Somehow this Lidl - and I live Lidl - always manages to feel a bit too close to a jumble sale. I don’t know if it’s the crummy space they’re in with it’s weird in and out doors or what.

Always feels a bit less looked after than other Lidls. The special of the week - Iberian week in this case - felt like half the stuff was missing compared to a Maidstone Lidl.

Very good value when you keep your eye out for bargains, but isles are cramped, long queues and ridiculously small place to pack your shopping items. 2017
2018 update: Now have self-scan which works, a little slow but didn't get a single "unexpected item in the baggage area" once. Store is small and car park too. Not sure they're going to be able to compete with Aldi when it opens.
2022 update: Slightly surprised that this has kept going after the pandemic, but I guess the location is ideal for those wanting a small shop. Still the cheapest and best freshly baked bread in town, but everyone now shops at Aldi for their big shop!

Very small and not enough staff for busy times. Have to wait for a till to be opened as they really want people to use the automated tills. Normally pretty well stocked tho

Very unorganised messy and stuff was all over the place. No tills open just self service difficult for visually impaired and disabled no one nearby to ask for help

Had everything I wanted. Competitively priced. Clean and tidy. Shelves well stocked.

I'm usually a big fan of Lidl, but this branch always feels cramped and grubby and the clientele are not the friendliest. Products are good and excellent value for money, but shopping experience is less than desirable.
