First time used Lidl, I’m very impressed, I really like their bakery area that I can pick and choose what I like, I can buy 1 donut, 2 chocolate brownies and whatever I love, rather than a pack of 4 same flavor cakes from a normal supermarket, what a great idea.

The shop has almost everything that I would expect from a supermarket, fresh veg & fruits, fresh & frozen meat, ready meals, cakes & desserts, plenty drinks - wine, all sorts of milk, squash, soft drinks, flavored water, juices, everyday items - toiletries, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, creams, toothpaste/brushes, clothings, newsletters & magazines, gifts & greeting cards, pet care & foods, seasonal products (Easter eggs, presents, toys and related foods) some tools, plants and garden stuffs too, and more.

Store is quite big & clean, still provides hand sanitizer and cleaning products which is very useful.

Free Parking spaces, including disabled spaces and parents & children spaces (not sure if it has time limit?)

My check out experience was quite slow, I was at the shop at 1330, shop was busy and only 2 check out were available. Self checkouts only accept cards, a guy bought an Easter egg & some flowers had to queue up for ages as he only had cash and couldn’t use self checkout.

Overall, It’s a nice shop and will definitely use it again.

Went here for the 3 years when I was attending DMU. Honestly the best supermarket to go to as I can buy my weekly shop. The bakery was amazing and fresh and there is plenty of stuff you can get at a cheap price. The queue was never an issue for me as the queue would progress moderately quick for the self-checkouts

Lidl bakeries are always great but the bakery here is just even better, plenty of options and the smell is just amazing. However the workers were stroppy and the queues were very long as only 1 till was open, despite multiple staff being around.

The best thing about Lidl is their bakery section. They offer the best quality croissant in the whole of the UK I guess. That too at the cheapest price. The staff in this supermarket are very helpful too.
