Been going here for the better part of a year. Some of the nicest members of staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food, while expensive, matches the value. Respecting social distancing rules with a member of staff checking people going in to ensure it's not too crowded.

The most helpful and friendly staff. I did not have a £1 coin today to use a trolley but a very kind assistant offered to get one for me with her own £1 coin. I was immensely grateful. So kind of her! Another assistant then proceeded to help me transfer all my shopping from my basket to the trolley. Great selection of food and priced accordingly for the quality and service. Highly recommend this store

Quality of food goods is not what it was from say the 1980's. Overpriced, overrated and full of palm oil and the like. Couldn't believe my eyes with all the long, list of processed rubbish in the Plant Kitchen's spagbol, no wonder they're reduced every night.

On a positive note I actually managed to actually source and find a decent quality Black Forest Gateaux from here made with decent ingredients and free from palm oil(yay), the abundance of tasty whipped cream was a decadent indulgence to say the least and was reminiscent of the yummy cream of one's childhood - literally took a trip down memory lane with the cream alone(delightfully yummy cream)! My birthday cake of choice this year was fabulous(it's actually on Wednesday yet celebrated my special day, today). You be hard pressed to find an unrivalled equivalent BFG on the market(unless you make it yourself, of course) if you scan ingredient list etc.). Well done M&S for your scrumptiously tasty Black Forest Gateaux, alone(frozen)😋🎂

Be aware just about all Hot Cross Buns contain palm fat / oil - I personally, go out of my way to avoid the bad stuff as it is so detrimental to human health and our shared planet(You would expect it in Aldi and Lidl Hot Cross Buns, perhaps but not M & S's food yet M&S quality standards isn't quite what it was once was, nowadays). I like to think that there is a lot of proactive conscientious consumers like myself striving to boycott certain products for the benefit of mankind's future upon earth(when we know better we do better) 🙏🏽🦧🦧🦧🌎🌎🌎🌴🌴🌴

Visited today approx 6pm, didn't do as big a shop as I intended as no checkouts manned and had to scan own shopping from trolley in tight space on self serve checkout. Very poor customer service won't be returning, will shop elsewhere.

Clean tidy and nice and cool. Limited variety and very few branded item's.
Staff very helpful on the expensive side but quality matches the price.

M&S Foodhalls are a great place to shop as they have items needed for all the necessary things needed in daily life and if you order items online you can collect for free instead of paying to have them delivered.

M&S Foodhall in Bridgwater is a nice welcoming place with very pleasant staff on tills and on shelf filling. Always pop in for a treat. Quality matches price. You pay extra for good quality products.
