There is a small car park (watch out for the pot holes). The sheltered seating area seats 6 or 7 people and has room for people to stand. Generally clean but very dreary looking, some colour is very much needed. The trains are irregular and often delayed (at the fault of the rail company, not the station). No staff or ticket office so tickets must be bought on the train.

Sadly reduced from the days when two tracks ran through the station (though the edge of the old westbound platform is still visible). Unstaffed, with ticket machine, open waiting shelter and bike rack. The small free car park for rail users is underused, which isn't too surprising as trains only run about once an hour in each direction. Cold except in summer as the sun is largely blocked out by a row of trees, but at least itʼs fairly sheltered from the wind.

Not a bad little station, wasn't in the best state when I visited it.
