I Visted the GP x-ray department last week for a chest X-ray and had a seizure when I was leaving. All the staff in that department were extremely kind and helpful, especially as I am autistic and came alone to the appointment. A big thank you to all the staff, nurses, and doctors who came to help me, they were fantastic, thank you! ✨⭐️💖 Also thanks to the kind doctor from Bangalore in the EA dept. Thank you for being patient and so helpful 🙏🏼😇

Would like to thank staff in the paediatrics A&E department for the compassion and care that they showed to my 8 year old grandson , who had a badly dislocated elbow . Once we got into that department he was seen quickly and all staff were very caring and attentive to him . Even the lovely surgeon who see his case that stayed after her shift to be the one to attend to him in theatre . And the anaesthetist who came spoke to Riley and explained to him in a way that he understood , as to what would be done to help him sleep so they could repair his elbow . They showed deep compassion towards him . Theatre staff also when he was seen just before going in. and the lovely nurse who escorted myself and his parents to theatre . And even when taken to the Childress Acorn ward after his op Nurses were great. Bone specialist surgeon also went in to see him when she started her shift early next morning . We really appreciate your care and compassion towards a really scared , in pain but brave little boy . THANk YOU 🙏 (22:08/2022) staff there from our attendance at 4pm .

Children's emergency ward was just cruel. Forget about long waiting times, which no one seems to care about.. The main doctor there was unbelievably arrogant, forceful and rude in dealing with us. We went to the right place but the security there took us to the wrong place and like that half an hour of my time was wasted but they still didn't let us enter, also when we ask something they don't answer.
I cannot believe that someone so ignorant is allowed to work on children's ward. Work unprofessional and cruel people they said not to do violent behavior but they do rude behavior themselves. I don't know what planet the people of these hospitals came from, only a few people are good but the majority of the people are just so cruel. Please fix your behavior so the patients would already be half better.

I fell off the metal stairs by my flat when it was wet after the rain. Went to Whipps, was struggling to sit down and stand up; the queues and the waiting time was bad. I came in at 11am and left at 8pm.
But, there is a big but! The doctors were great, nurses were nice. Instead of X-ray, I was sent to get a CT scan.
I was very happy that the doctors took it seriously and checked everything properly.
Worth the wait, thank you.

Firstly our whole experience before we departed was actually 5 star. Staff were AMAZING In particular the guy in the x-ray department was wonderful. However, unfortunately Phil on desk 4/fracture desk was extremely rude and in a job that he must despise quite frankly.
After visiting children's A&E, X-Ray, Minor Injuries departments and receiving top quality care and attention from staff, we had to hand in a fracture form at the front desk in A&E for a future follow up review. The desk looked closed as the blind was half mast with the words 'Closed' displayed but we waited anyway. The lady on Desk 3 was rude and abrupt in telling me to wait there when I said it looked closed as the blind said this. She made no attempt to adjust the blind.
When Phil (desk 4/fractures) appeared he began to tell me we would receive a call on Monday, I asked the question if it would be a specific time-slot (I teach & therefore don't have access to my phone from 8-3:30pm) only to be barked at that he'll get to that in a minute, talking over me as I tried to explain why I had asked. Really very rude and uncalled for. I had my young daughter present who too was flabbergasted.
As I said, such a shame, as what was a really positive experience was let down as we left by the woman on desk 3's uncalled for rudeness and Phil desk 4 extreme rudeness to a simple question. Totally the wrong candidates for public facing roles, how they got the job in the first place is beyond me (10am 5/11/22) The reception children I teach have better manners. An overhaul needed in this area of the hospital as it lets down other departments.

Children's A&E are amazing! So systematic and organised. Ivan in particular is an excellent emergency registrar! Kept me informed the whole time and got things done! Made sure we were seen by ENT too. Well done guys keep up the good work! 👏🏽

Took my daughter to A&E and everyone from beginning to end were polite and professional. I was checked in and went to the children section where there was a bit of a wait but I truly appreciate how busy they were so I cannot complain. This is my hospital of choice. Every member of staff I came across was ’child friendly’ patient and informative. Thank you whipps cross.
