What can I say about Thomas Audley Ward 100/10 Mark’s Those Nurses Gladys is one of them, but all those fantastic nurses. They are amazing. They worked hard and at the same time withheld my father’s dignity. My father was in a helpless and vulnerable situation and those nurses and. Doctors provided top. care As I am writing a review, I feel overwhelmed by the positive experience my father and family experienced. I noticed that the staff were never seen sitting about or talking amongst themselves, the ward was always quiet and peaceful and I saw teamwork and felt harmony amongst the Staff what a amazing and wonderful experience my father has had. I don’t feel worried about leaving dad as I can see that he is in good hands. I just want to wrap this up because I could keep on writing, but thank you Homerton Staff from A&E, Theatre Staff and Doctor’s and thank you to all the Thomas Audley Ward STAFF for being a beautiful team and so hardworking and caring to all patients. Thank you all , you are all blessed.

After a long wait at A&E I was taken care of by Ruth the nurse practitioner. Excellent service and care delivered by herself and she made the process very easy and enjoyable.

Thanks a lot to Ruth, a great investment made by Homerton hospital. Keep up the good work 👌👌

This hospital deserves 100/10, we had a wonderful experience. I gave birth to my first child here, my husband was close to me all the time. All midwifes had a beautiful and great attitude of care of me. Birth was easily and well, I gave birth to a wonderful and healthy little girl, thanks to these wonderful people. Thank God that I am here! Thousands of thanks for the maternity department and all workers! Homerton University Hospital is the best hospital I have ever been in.

Why are all the receptionists and some nurses so rude at hospitals!.. They need to go on refresher courses on how to work with people and manners!. I do wonder how people get these jobs!.

I visited the hospital recently and I wasn’t sure where I was going, so I saw a nurse just standing around on her phone! And asked her if I was in the right department.
She just looked at me as I pointed to my phone and then just pointed me and grunted something, at the reception desk no smile it’s like I disturbed her on her phone! (x-ray reception 1). She just stood the whole time on her phone and at one time talking on it, I thought it was so unprofessional.
I noticed another gentlemen did the same thing as me and got the same treatment.
When I got to the reception desk the young girl was no better, just looked at me no smile or welcome, it was disappointing, especially if you are new to the hospital total put off.
I hope I don’t come back here, thankfully the lady who scanned me was more polite and respectful to me and others.

Today my girlfriend gave birth to our first child and I was present all the time in which I was more than satisfied to see the professionalism and humanity shown by all the staff starting from doctors to nurses. I'm sorry that because of the emotions I was not able to remember their names but I want to thank everyone especially the lady who encouraged my girlfriend just like a mother in her hardest moment just after she was given the epidural anesthetic. Thank you! ❤️

My worst experience over the years and its not improving, the wait is so long it's unbearable.
Eventually when you do get seen it's a relief knowing that you no longer have to be there, to top things up with the famous quote when you are seen "try paracetamol first".

The complete process is approximately 4 to 6 hours, the time you attend the hospital till discharged.

This should discourage anyone who's thinking of visiting the hospital in the first place.

I hope this useful . 😉

My daughter, who unfortunately was badly let down by her GP not taking her symptoms seriously enough, ended up in A and E with a severe kidney infection. The staff were incredible! She was seen and admitted quickly, given appropriate treatment, and was even offered a scan and check up with a consultant after she was discharged. I cannot praise the staff at Homerton highly enough. Thank you - you are fabulous!

Dirty outside. Not much cleaner inside. Drop and Pick up bays are used as parking. Very annoying 😒
On walking through the corridors blue plastic gloves on the floor..No one sweeping up and down these corridors to keep them hygienically clean. Some hand gel machines had no hand gel in them. Lift not working for the 3rd day in a row. My Daughter is in maternity and honestly I think she would be safer home. No hot water to take a shower. Sheets not changed enough and some staff not even masked up while taking bloods from my Grandson.
Staff on her ward seem lovely. Unfortunately the Hospital its self is a disgrace.
