Unlucky enough that I had to visit the hospital for a scan but lucky enough nothing to worry about:-) The hospital was very clean and it even had an M&S inside. WOW! And a Costa! Wow2 :) A big thanks to the team for offering weekend appointments too. I did not have to wait at all, staff was very friendly. Today I give NHS and west middlesex university hospital 5 stars!

The West Middlesex University Hospital is easily accessible and has a big parking space for the people comes to hospital and for emergency unit there is a drop and go. Inside the hospital there are stores like M&S, Costa and WHS for the convenience of patients. The outpatient wards are well accessible. Self payment kiosks are aslo available at the centre.

Urgent care visit. What wonderful staff, working under what was clearly extreme pressure. Busy with lots of people who didn’t need to be there but the ones who did were seen more quickly. Nurses positive, patient and helpful and the doctor I saw, who was managing the outpatients alone was fabulous. Great follow up the next day. Amazing that we get such a service in these times in this country.

Today I had a very bad experience there. The only one reason I didn’t give 1*, because I know the nurses and doctors are very good and kind.
I went there with chest injury.
I have been waited for nearly 8 hours.
I was talking with a receptionist. I know it’s busy and a lots of urgent patient, but lots of people were just arrived after me.
She was rude, she said, I’m just waiting 7h25min and it’s impossible, they arrived before me and they have no clue when I’m the next.
I’m 100% sure, they came after me, because I was sitting there for hours.
I do understand everything, but I have a problem too, I can’t breath properly, probably my ribs are broken.
I had to come home, I wasn’t able stand and sit anymore

I saw a mother approach the reception desk for the second time as she has been waiting for over five hours for her young child to be seen for a constant coughing fit. The receptionist told her to stop asking her all the time and just wait. The mother just sat there in tears . It’s half two in the morning . I have seen so many people being spoken without any compassion by not only the receptionists but also the staff who call out names when they come to collect the patients.

I am sure there is a code of conduct and the abuse which should not be tolerated applies the other way. People come here to get treated and not spoken out of turn.

The security guard on duty in the other hand had the most compassion for all and was helping everyone where he could. May be he should be at the front desk.

Not to mention when I tried to open a door it was locked and before I could find the button to open the door, I had a staff member tell me off saying don’t break the door … The sheer arrogance and assumption fire safety, e-gress, health and safety are large part of my day job so it took me lot of effort to ignore her.

Please conduct some behaviour etiquette classes for people working with public and leave a feedback form or online form for others to fill.

I rated this place a full five stars few years back but boy has it gone downhill!

Edit: I am upgrading the rating simply because of the excellent nurse and the doctor who looked after me and discharged me after treatment. The care was excellent.

If I had to rate care : 5
Rate customer service at front desk : 1

All the stars removed from heaven would not be enough anyway. Twice my life was saved there three years ago, today I am again after surgery for a hernia and I feel great. The vast knowledge and golden hands of the doctors working there deserve the highest respect.Nurses, technicians and all the staff who help them also deserve great respect.Thank you very much and I wish you all the best to everyone working there. Best regards.

I had such a good experience there. Left a message, had a call back within the day. Dr Lauren Bull was kind, helpful, a great communicator, I felt in very safe hands. And so was her colleague who chaperoned for the procedure. I have nothing but praise for them. They followed up, they called when they said they would call. Really impressed! Thank you for making me feel so at ease.

i have recently been to your hospital twice, within four months. i believe your nurses, doctors, and other staff are excellent. Also I believe they deserve a pay rise. In regard to the 111 service, what is that all about? Give you a ring back in an hour? More like 3 hours. I remember when you phoned your local GP he would come out , out of hours and visit you at home and diagnose your ailment, 9 out of 10. It was take a tablet see you in the morning. It appears to me our local GP's are sending their patients to the A&E, because they also sideline in the private sector.
Also people eating snacks and drinking, coffee in before being assessed, what's anyway. Thanks
