Straid Veterinary Clinic

Although having had three dogs be part of Straid, my current pooch is very anxious about coming in. Jade in particular has been extremely competent, accommodating and generally all round brilliant! It makes visiting easier and hopefully bit by bit he will feel more relaxed. Apart from that, all staff are very friendly and helpful, the girls on the reception desk and the veterinary nurses. Previous insurance claims have been handled quickly. Parking is easy. Happy customer!

We trust Straid completely. When the emergency vet said our dog had to be put down after a stroke, Mark encouraged us to nurse him back to health - this was 18 months ago and he is still with us! They are expensive but worth it, and all the staff are lovely.

I have used Straid Veterinary Clinic for all of the dogs I have had. They are a caring practice. All treatment required is fully explained. You are not restricted to your appointment time. If you have concerns they will explain until they feel you are happy.

I visited Straid Veterinary Clinic with my husband as our pet tortoise, Ian, was unwell. We were really impressed with the service we received! Maxine, the vet who saw to Ian, was very knowledgeable and clearly very clued up when it comes to reptiles. She was also very nice and professional too.
The receptionist also made a good impression.
The consultation plus beak trim and antibiotics were very reasonably priced.

No complaints as it was a 5 star service, and will definitely return again if Ian has any further problems.

First visit to a vets with our first puppy. Everyone was super welcoming, they answered all our questions, checked we had everything we needed, all round a great service

Great practice with really caring staff - they always make a fuss of my dog even when we just go to get her weighed. Highly recommend.

Have used Straids for many years and very satisfied with the service I receive. I was very impressed with the consultation I had yesterday with a new vet to Straids Emma. She was friendly and extremely thorough taking time to put my dog at her ease and het to know her. We didn’t feel rushed and felt in good hands. The reception staff are also very nice .
